Big Capacity at a Great Price

This is a great product. It has a large capacity but doesn’t take up more counter space than the older air fryer models with half the cooking capacity. I love the fact that there’s an internal light and a window to view the status of the food and also the ability to heat the air fryer at more than the standard 390 degrees. This unit preheats quickly and I haven’t used all the functions yet but it’s a nice alternative to using the oven during the summer. It quick and easy to clean and very reasonably priced. If you’re looking to replace your current air fryer or try one for the first time, this is the one to consider.

My daughter sent the Cuisinart Basket Air-200 Fryer to me for my 65 birthday present. I wanted to prepare food in a healthier way. My wife and I have cooked with it about 8 times so far using some of the recipes that are contained in the instruction booklet which accompanies the air fryer. We have been very impressed with the recipes, the tenderness of the meats and vegetables. There is still a learning curve for us in using an air fryer but we are learning. Most of our small kitchen appliances are the Cuisinart brand because of the higher quality value and reliability. This Air-200 is solid and quiet. Very high quality!!!

The good, the 9 x 9 square basket gives plenty of room, the pretemps are too much time, but you will adjust later by decreasing the time. I put a 9 x 9 parchment paper with small holes with food holding them down for clean cooking. Clean up is easy in the sink after it cools. The light button allows 10 sec then turns off or you can push again to turn off. The first time, I washed the basket and put in water bowl only for a no smell test. The unit never smelled at all and the exhaust out the back is minimal. The bad is, well, nothing. I haven't found anything to complain about. I have a coffee maker with Cuisinart and it is a good product so I trusted the maker and it continues.

Great Product
8 September 2024

I really like this air fryer. Cuisinart is a great brand. (Love my cuisinart ice cream maker). I like that I don’t have to raise the lid like my zstar air fryer that didn’t last a year. Big basket. I can broil 4 good sized burgers. Air fry 5 chicken thighs or several wings. I like the pull out basket and the beep when it’s time to turn things. I especially like the window and light to check the progress. Fits nicely under my cabinet and a nice width. Super easy to clean. I don’t have to worry about anything electrical to keep away from water when cleaning . So, I really don’t have any cons. Very happy.

Cuisinart is a good company of quality kitchen appliances. After reading a newspapers recommendation on air fryers I did my standard research into products pre-purchase and was not disappointed. Most of the reviews I read said there is a noticeable noise at startup of the Cuisinart and I concur. It seems to lessen every time we use it, which is quite often. We like the many different settings on the product. We also like the ability to turn the light on the interior of the basket to check on the food. Food cooks evenly and clean up of tray and basket is wonderfully easy.If I could suggest one thing it would be a better booklet on temps for different foods. The current one is pretty slim pickings.I would have given this a five star but due to the noise and ... MoreCuisinart is a good company of quality kitchen appliances. Great purchase, great company!

First time to buy an air fryer, so lots of research done on this purchase. I have a VERY small kitchen with limited counter space, so size and appearance were very important to me. This appliance will sit out on the countertop, so it really needed to look nice 😊. I also read many, many reviews on other air fryers before deciding on the features I would want the most. While this model is rather new and did not have many reviews, I loved how it looked and it checked off all the features that I was looking for, so I ordered it. It arrived quickly, with an outer box. Very well protected. Unpacked, the machine is very pretty. Some air fryers are just ugly; this one is not! I washed and dried the basket (which is large and will hold 4 burgers easily) and the tray. Very well protected. Unpacked, the machine is very pretty. Some air fryers are just ugly; this one is not! I washed and dried the basket (which is large and will hold 4 burgers easily) and the tray. After reading so many reviews, I assumed that there was going to be an odor, so I was prepared with the exhaust fan, and many air fryer reviewers stated that the first items they tried cooking burned, so I bought a bag of French fries to experiment with. There was no odor after turning on the machine, nor has anything burned (yet). The controls are VERY easy to use. The bag of fries had air fry instructions, so I followed those and entered them in the machine and hit start. It is nearly silent when running. No excessive draw on the electricity. This machine has an automatic shake reminder at about halfway through the cook time. Cooking stops when drawer is pulled out and resumes when drawer is replaced. Also, if cooking is completed, it automatically shifts to warm. During the cook cycle, I did try the light feature just to see what was happening and that was awesome to see the progress! So, the fries took 8 minutes (there was no preheat on air fry). Fries were golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. In a word, they were perfect. The second item I made was boneless, skinless chicken breast. Also perfectly cooked. Everything works great and cleans easily. Great purchase for my first air fryer!

Most delicious food comes out of this air fryer
12 March 2024

I should’ve bought one of these years ago, but I never thought I would need one or use it until my friend started telling me about all the delicious food she made in her air fryer. I decided to get one.. I looked a really long time at so many different brands and types and sizes but I decided on this one because it’s a brand that I trust and it looked really chic and I’m so happy that I did. I haven’t turned my oven on since I bought this.. Baked acorn squash comes out so yummy in this thing at 400° for about 20 minutes and also I will never buy frozen brussels sprouts again after air frying these at 400° for 15 minutes. I cut them in half after washing and drizzle a little bit of olive oil on them and put them directly into the air fryer and when they’re done, I ... MoreI should’ve bought one of these years ago, but I never thought I would need one or use it until my friend started telling me about all the delicious food she made in her air fryer. Sprinkle a bit of Parmesan cheese and they are so good. I have had them several times for dinner by themselves . The size of this air fryer would be perfect for an 8 in. Baking dish for brownies or something else but right now I’m not not eating sweets so I haven’t tried that yet but I love this and it looks absolutely gorgeous in my kitchen. I have it sitting in the corner so it’s easy to reach an operate. It cleans like a dream in seconds, and nothing nothing sticks to it . I recommended this air fryer to several people already, and I am absolutely thrilled that I have mine

My #1 Kitchen Appliance
3 April 2024

I have been using my Cuisinart Air 200 for about two weeks now and it has quickly become my favorite kitchen appliance. Food prep is quick and easy and with the help of a cookbook like Kelsey Ales' "Everything Air Fryer Cookbook", I feel like I have been able to produce delicious, restaurant quality meals with very little cooking expertise of my own. The Air 200 has been easy to use and flawless in its operation. And post meal clean up is so easy! I just wipe out the excess grease and debris with a paper towel, and then take a sponge soaked in warm soapy water to wipe off the crisper plate and the surfaces of the air fryer basket and that's it. The non-stick coating of the crisper plate and the basket truly is non-stick and it seems very durable. Our New Favorite Appliance!

Wow! This air fryer cooks great tasting food in no time! We love it. Also, I hate cabinet clutter so it’s lightweight enough to store in a cabinet (must be tall) if I remove the basket first then place back in the fryer. Just a little spritz of oil does the trick. I’ve cooked chops, chicken, fish, biscuits, steaks, broccoli, tots,,zucchini, potatoes and other foods and all tasted great. It also has a removable dishwasher safe basket liner. I don’t put the basket in the dishwasher but I think you can. We love this air fryer.

Plain English-Worded Settings, No Mystery Icons
21 April 2024

I bought the Cuisinart Air-200 Basket Air Fryer for three reasons. 1) The non-stick coating on my old generic air fryer was peeling off and the basket was rusting. 2) The settings were pictures icons and I had no idea what they meant. 3) There weren't separate controls for up and down temperature and time. It was an extreme challenge to operate. I researched a lot of air fryers, both name brand and generic ones, but the Cuisinart Air-200 is the only one that checked all the boxes for me. Its settings are plainly worded in English. There is no mistaking what I'm pressing. There are separate temperature and time controls. The removeable grate is not built-in to the basket. I didn't know I needed it until I used it. It's very bright. I can see the food cooking without having to pull out the basket. The basket is square with only slightly rounded corners for easy cleaning. That means there's more surface area for food. I also like the squatty boxy profile, rather than the giant black egg-looking design of my old air fryer. I couldn't be happier.
