You are told not to leave the cooker unattended which isn't great when you are cooking slowly.The steamer creates a large amount of steam. Not a great idea if you find your kitchen windows running with water.The grill spits easily and so best not to use oil if you canThere is no temperature on the controls. It is just low medium or high. It surely would have been so much better to put a temperature guide there.Too many issues with this item.

Been using the Cuisinart for a couple of weeks now. The grilling plate is great for cooking sausages, grilled vegetables. It gets really hot quickly. I used the deeper pan for pasta sauce And while that was cooking I inserted the steam plate and added vegetables to steam at same time as sauce cooking at the bottom. I did have to cook the pasta in a seperate pan but if you pre make your sauce you could then cook the pasta in the appliance. I’d recommend it… it’s ideal for 2 people as it’s compact and looks nice if you keep it out on your worktop. Saves using pans and easy to clean.

This is a great addition to our kitchen - we use it most days for different things. The grill is handy, Its big enough for a family of 4. We have made chicken, steak, sausages, bacon, pancakes, waffles. Heats up quickly and does a good job. Easy to clean afterwards. Its very portable and would actually be a handy thing to take on a camping trip...possible addition this year! Other function I love is the steamer. Super easy and its actually encouraged us to eat more veg. Easy machine to use and I would recommend!

Bought this to replace a 20+ yr old Tefal Astuscia , and I haven’t been disappointed. First in its favour it didn’t fuse the lights when plugged in . Casseroles, frying, grilling, steaming ,poaching, it does everything , really easy to clean & allows for everything to pack away neatly . We had a wine rock under a veg basket in out kitchen cabinets. Got hubby to unclick the 2 frames and it became the perfect storage place, though the stacked unit also looks great on the worktop.. it might seem a little pricey but it’s well worth it. You won’t be disappointed in this little machine .buy it .
I’m hooked! Cook & serve direct from one pan, SAVES FUEL/WASHING UP/DISHWASHER SPACE. Saute, seal meat/poultry, sauce making, all swift with good heat source from flat plate heat element. Clear lid. Sturdy base solid grip yet pan & components are very light.Detachable plug.Made chicken dish,beef goulash,bolognese & poached eggs. Steamer excellent results: new potatoes, green veg, carrots - big surface area. Used lower temp than recommended for everything. Grill very good. 4* due to excess steam escape when steaming + poor timing instructions + steamer won’t stack within unit when not in use.
Received last week and have used it now 4 times. Every meal has been a success. Grilling function worked well with sausages and cooked the evenly + kept them juicy. Searing also effective but took a bit of playing with the temperature button as its just a turn dial and no indication of what temperature it's actually hitting. Sautéing again effective but if you are going to leave something to cook slowly set it very low, remember keep checking, stirring (its not a slow cooker!). ONLY negative is the steam it releases. I wouldn't use it under wall cupboards you get lots of condensation.
I got this really for the steaming function and it's really handy. I put the chicken in the foodi grill and put all the veggies into this. As Chicken rests, I switch this one and veggies are done within 10 mins. No need to preheat and no piles of washing up.I have yet to try the other functions, hopefully it'll be as brilliant so I'll be able to put my slow cooker and grill up for sale and free up some cupboard space soon!Only reason for dropping a star is that my windows gets steamed up. Would be great if the steam outlet could be directional.
This does everything, steams, griddles, stews cooks pancakes, rectangular omelettes, roasts too!Washes well.I love it. While the range cooker is off for summer it has cooked a huge range of food for 4 people with ease.The handles could be longer to make it easy to hold when hot and trying to serve with one hand while tipping the pan with the other.That is my only negative.It looks smart enough to have on the table too. Best kitchen item I have bought for many years!
The four stars reflect early frustrations with few recipes provided but these gave some advice as there were no options with professional cook books for the Cuisinart. However its been a journey of discovery and now I don't know what Id do without it. Its economical to use , easy to set up , little need to heat up, plenty of productive (plug detached) cool down and very easy to clean. Few examples : English breakfast is a breeze, Ragu similarly simple as was Paella and Risotto, It cant cook pastry thats its limitation!
I bought this item to avoid using my gas hobs all the time. I have had it 2 weeks and it has been great. The temperature range is really good. It maintains a very low simmer for cooking lamb shanks and poaching eggs but also gets really hot quickly when boiling potatoes or searing a salmon fillet.It stacks away really easily with every element fitting inside each other. The power lead is also a kettle lead which unplugs from the back of the multi-cooker meaning the wire can be placed inside the pan when not being used and not dangle around everywhere.If I had one small reservation it would be that the metal rim that forms the edge of the glass lid feels a little flimsy and is slightly loose when the lid is being cleaned.
