Amazing home made ice cream as good as shop bought

I have been hanging out for one of these ice cream makers for years ever since I saw them on Masterchef. I am an avid cook and this didnt disappoint. It makes the most exquisite ice cream in under an hour. Better still there are no preservatives and you know what you are putting into your own ice cream . Simple and easy to operate with its own delicous recipies. Super easy to clean. I highly recommend this machine.

Bought the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker because of a friends suggestion. They bought a competing brand and were a little disappointed. Absolutely love this appliance. My son has allergies to Nuts, Dairy and Wheat. Trying to find ice-creams and frozen treats for him is a nightmare. A healthyish afternoon treat for me and my husband, which is only 80 calories per portion. Amazing! Feel like i'm eating ice-cream to get thin, ha ha ha.In all seriousness. This ice cream maker produced a superb quantity of mint choc chip ice cream on our first run. It was a big hit with our dinner guests and young family alike. We are now planning our next batch to try a different flavour. It is hard to describe the difference between the quality of this product against shop bought ice cream. It has not disappointed.

Cuisinart home ice cream is a No. 1 choice.
30 May 2020

Have compared various home ice cream models over a period of time and Cuisinart remained top one or two due to its ease of use and consistent top ratings. Since it being a Mothers day gift one month ago a number of recipes have been trialed from raspberry sorbet, Oreo ice cream, Sicilian vanilla gelato and various other flavours and recipes. Each result has been different and mostly above expectations. Ultimately the recipe is what determines the outcome but what is consistent is this machine. Easy to use, quick to become chilled, practical to clean, can be re-used immediately batch after batch, delivers both gelato and ice cream and with a 1.5L volume which is just the right size and it also looks good too.I had my eye on this machine for over a year but was ... MoreHave compared various home ice cream models over a period of time and Cuisinart remained top one or two due to its ease of use and consistent top ratings. Myer also made it possible to purchase at a competitive price. Now that I know this appliance i can’t wait to experiment with new flavours and recipes.

Home made Ice-Cream 👍 from my Family
28 January 2023

Ice cream maker was easy to use, read the instructions and made ice-cream that was delicious. Add the ingredients and the Ice Cream maker does the rest! The churning time from start to finish was 50 minutes and then ice cream straight to the freezer to harden overnight. Will definitely use this ice-cream maker constantly and try different flavours. As I have many intolerances making my own preservative free ice-cream means I can enjoy this treat often.

Ice Cream Maker, loving it!

I had my eye on this machine for more than 12 months and finally decided to purchase it.With a min of 2 hours to refrigerate your mixture before churning, it's fairly easy to prepare the night before or early in the day you need to churn your batch. I've only been making half quantities of the base recipes & it's plenty for a small family of 2-3, and allows me to experiment with flavours.A fresh bunch of mint, wrapped in a cloth & infused into the milk/custard base gives a beautiful, intense and natural flavour. It's important to look at how much sugar is in a recipe, so if there's 1 cup for eg, and I want to use melted chocolate, I've been looking at the sugar content of the chocolate and reducing the amount of sugar to compensate for the sugar in the chocolate ... MoreI had my eye on this machine for more than 12 months and finally decided to purchase it.With a min of 2 hours to refrigerate your mixture before churning, it's fairly easy to prepare the night before or early in the day you need to churn your batch. Idiot Proof
1 November 2022

I've had this machine for about 4 years now and every summer it makes an appearance to make the season a little bit brighter. I pretty well only make ice-cream and sorbets. Doesn't matter how far I stray off the well trodden recipes it still manages to make brilliant ice-cream. Flavour that aren't overly represented commercially like liquorice, coffee and some that are like mint chocolate chip using quality mint essence and generous shavings of dark chocolate. And the odd ferrero rocher and choc-malt. And when I make ice-cream for a dinner party the conversation invariably ends up me having to bring the machine out of the pantry because the guests simply don't understand the concept of a stand alone ice-cream maker.

Instant Worship!

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS INCREDIBLE MACHINE! It has changed my life. I can create world class ice cream, sorbet, frozen yogurt, slushies and gelato in 30 minutes! This model is really quiet and easy to clean and use, I LOVE IT! I haven’t bought any ice cream from the store since I purchased this ice cream maker. Because the ice cream the Cuisinart produces is so creamy and delicious, and better than any supermarket (or any) ice cream I’ve ever tasted, I don’t have to! The super handy features like the keep cool function, the built in compressor and the lid for adding chunks of stuff make ice cream making a breeze! This maker has never let me down. Recommend this amazing machine to everyone, so just get onto the Kitchen Warehouse website and buy one!

If you are looking for real ice cream, gelato and sorbets then Cuisnart Ice Cream Maker will not be the answer. The timer and control system is so so basic and is very clumsy, not expected in todays tech climate. It is a tidy machine and cleans well. There is no facility to churn without the freezing cycle which is a problem as you will not have the chance to increase the aeration of the product. The blades are poorly designed and do not turn the freezing product over and introduce air but rather forms a ball and it goes round and round. The resultant product is very dense and not anywhere near the temperature the product needs to be to be ice free. Finishing the product in the freezer does not improve the product but in fact produces ice crystals - crunchy!! You will need to eat the product virtually straight from the end of the churning cycle as it will not keep well in the freezer certainly no longer than overnight. I consider this to be a low value for money and inefficient purchase and I most certainly would not recommend it to anyone. In fact I am returning it.

Worth the money.

Great machine. Does everything you need for an ice cream maker to do. Easy to use and create your own recipes. I made vegan no sugar ice cream vanilla and chocolate and double chocolate and it was creamy and delicious. No freezing tubs for hours. You have to make the base up then let it sit for 4 hrs in the fridge. Then pour into the ice cream maker and it is ready to eat either straight from the machine, depending on how hard you like it. I had it in the freezer for a couple of weeks. It sets rock hard after a day so I needed to take out and let it thaw. 38 degrees it didn’t take long and it was so creamy. But other recipes might not set as hard. Put the chocolate flavours in the the molds and had them on the stick.
