I have a large food processor which I use a lot but began to think a mini version would be great for small quantities. The cuisinart mini prep pro is a very cute and attractive addition to my new kitchen and extremely useful. Does a great job, easy to use and clean, great service as always from Harts and good price. I love it and have found having a large and small food processor covers every eventuality. Sometimes it takes lockdown to make you realise what you really need.! Why not treat yourself? Harts have so many great products to choose from, all of high quality. Highly recommended , will use Harts again and again.

I bought this as a replacement for a more expensive British make which only lasted just over a year. It arrived very quickly and I have used it loads so far to chop 150 cloves of garlic, bunches of parsley, corriander, make breadcrumbs, pesto, tapenade, dice ginger etc etc.It is very well made, easy to clean and the fact that the blades go both ways is a massive positive. It takes up very little space on my worksurface, so I just leave it out ready to use.I have had a Cusinart blender and large food processor for over 10 years, I just wish I'd discovered this little marvel years ago!Brilliant ++++

I have mixed feelings about this little processor. I bought one in 2018 and it worked fabulously for 2 years; perfect for grinding nuts, making hummus, pesto etc but then it stopped 'processing'. The motor worked but didn't engage with the spindle. Cuisinart very kindly replaced it under the guarantee. I then tried grinding coffee beans in the new one (which I hadn't previously done), as the manual states one can do. Big mistake! The beans abraded the bowl, leaving a horrible opaque band around it (see photo). Once again, great customer service from Cusinart, sending a replacement bowl. A great wee machine in some ways but not suitable for some tasks and I wouldn't recommend anyone grinds coffee in it.

Loving this little machine great size and doesn’t take up much room in my kitchen. Only thing is it’s really powerful so might take a few tries to get things right. I’ve made perfect hummus, easy banana ice cream ( it got through the frozen bananas no problem). My first attempt at making a salsa with the usual tomatoes, onions etc I obviously pressed chop too many times and ended up with mush, but I just used it as a sort of homemade sauce. That’s what I mean by might take a couple of attempts as powerful. I’ve been looking at buying one of these for ages and read loads of reviews on various brands so although quite expensive compared to some other brands it’s well worth the money as a quality product. I found Harts of Sur had the best price and brilliant service ... MoreLoving this little machine great size and doesn’t take up much room in my kitchen. They are now my go to company first.
Have a large food processor but just too bulky for small amounts. This mixer is ideal. Came promptly and well packaged. Really easy to clean....which is a must. Have bought a few things now from Harts of Sur and never had a problem. 5 stars from me.
I saw this model on Mrs Hinch's Instagram as she uses one to prepare her baby's meals. As I live alone, I wanted something that meant I could whizz up a small batch of something without having a large jug to clean up afterwards. This model has more than exceeded my expectations. The blades are fast and cut through food products quickly and I like that it has the option to chop or grind food simply by selecting the relevant button. You do have to keep your finger on the buttons, but as it is so fast this isn't an issue. I also like that it comes with a spatula to scrape food from the sides of the jug when emptying it. A great product and a great price!
Where has this Min Prep been all my life! Have a cupboard full of equipment that profess to do chopping/grinding/sauce making with ease but none do. Finally the Cuisinart Mini Prep Pro comes in to my life. It does exactly what it says...makes sauces and dips in a trice; chops; grinds and all without clogging or thrusting all the contents up against wall of the cup. The Cup is a very useful size and will fit ingredients for a pate/humous/sauce for 4 easily. The locking blade is very helpful and enables you to scoop/pour out the contents without ending up in a mess. Simple to use and easy to clean.Very compact and storable. A perfect bit of kit. All the others can go!Highly recommend.
There are glowing reviews elsewhere about this bit of kit. If your coming to it from a Kenwood end of things it is a well made bit of kit. If you are coming at it from a Cuisinart bit of kit it is sleek and quite light weight in its feel. it does not have the solidity of the larger kit Cuisinart supply. That said it does its job well. sharp blade and blunt blade(grind) function are fine. one point to note, it only operates when you have your finger on a button. The moment you let go, it stops. I personally find that a nuisance and if I had realised it I might have gone elsewhere. There is obviously no poring tube on this machine (see pictures) but there is a means of dropping liquid through a very small hole. This limits its ability to add liquid quickly. No slicing ... MoreThere are glowing reviews elsewhere about this bit of kit. If your coming to it from a Kenwood end of things it is a well made bit of kit. No slicing or grating function. This is not what I call a mini food processor. But a quality looking bit of kit that is easier to work than a liquidiser, it definitely is. Buy with your eyes wide open and if it is what you need you will not be disappointed.
Good Points: Nice and compact to leave on the worktop at all times. Easy to clean and assemble for use.Chops very effectively.Improvement Points: I found chopping mushrooms almost impossible to the desired size. The vegetables need to be of equal size before adding to the processor.
This is a compact, lightweight, effective kitchen aid which we'll use on a weekly basis. Once we assembled the parts we initially couldn't get the machine to work. We realised that it must have had something to do with the way we were positioning the bowl/lid but couldn't fathom the problem from reading the instructions so sent the machine back. The Cuisinart Customer Service is excellent and they first checked over the machine to make sure it wasn't faulty then sent it back with an engineer's note. The engineer had taped the lid into position to indicate exactly where it should be (ie the handle of the lid in line with the handle of the bowl) in order for the machine to work. Our suggestion would be that the exact position of the lid to the bowl is more simply ... MoreThis is a compact, lightweight, effective kitchen aid which we'll use on a weekly basis.
