I purchased this in store (but 2 hours from my home). It doesn't work. The grinder works fine with the cover off, but you can't use it that way because it falls apart with the cover off. When you put the cover on it either triggers it to grind non-stop, or it doesn't trigger it at all. Do not recommend at all.

- The grinder isn't strong enough to grind the salt into small parts, you have to relax your expectations to having larger chunks of salt.- The steam from food wets the salt and jams the mechanism forcing you to open the mechanism to remove the stuck salt.- The grinder is simply weak, not a good purchase. It stopped working efficiently within 2 weeks of purchase.
