Don't be fooled like myself and others. Absolutely useless piece of stuff and complete waste of money. It worked a few times - then forget it - it doesn't grip and just mangles the rim of tin, which made it near impossible to open can by trying to use a conventional old fashioned tin opener.

It is a replacement for an almost identical one we had for over 10 years (similar brand). This one works as well as the old one. Brilliant. Not expensive either.
There is no easy way to say this but this can opener is rubbish. Hardest opener to get to attach to the can and is very uncomfortable and hard to turn the opening lever once in position. Not suitable for older people to use
I bought a new MagiCan opener about a month ago to replace my original MagiCan opener which was at least 15 years old and still amazing however I gave it to my son. The new MagiCan opener is almost impossible to use. The effort involved just to open one can is beyond belief, it’s absolutely not worth buying and mine is going in the bin. This product is rubbish.
The old one I had was great, this new one is rubbish. Worst can opener ever.
