Great machine. Easier to use then my brother scan and cut. Glad it came with a Matt as the ones I have don't fit so definitely good that it is a bundle package. If you want a A4 cutter for making stationary this is it!

I've wasted soooo much time trying to cut down vinyl to fit this machine, it's such a hassle for this reason alone. They barely have any vinyl options for the xtra, except basic boring colors. Had I known the selection of materials for this was going to be sooo minimal, I would've just purchased a bigger machine. The design suite is NOT user friendly, is incredibly strange and difficult to find the most simple things... Most projects don't have any instructions... I don't have the time or desire to become a design expert. Their "help" videos only show you how to load the machine and do the most basic parts AFTER you have figured out how the heck to design/create anything.But truly, check and see how few Xtra sized materials are available before purchasing, and ... I have used my Cricut Joy Xtra for a couple of iron on t-shirt projects using the included Smart Iron on. I had no trouble with it connecting to my desktop computer. Projects turn out as expected. I'm looking forward to making my next project - I am thinking a greeting card!
I found it hard to connect it to my computer as there were so many apps. I eventually managed it. I had had a lesson and have another one soon so hopefully will understand it better then. Also thete are not many patterns that are free you really have to pay for most of them. Having daid that im hoping once I get used to the way it works I don't regret buying it.
Sooo disappointed,after unboxing and setting up couldn't wait to get started.first cut as per instructions worked.then when my first project was prepared for cutting, Blue tooth failed ,and again and again! Next try it worked,for one cut,then stopped.i followed all the troubleshooting instructions but it just fails time and again ,I walked away,next day I actually completed a project but it stopped in the middle of a cutWhich is hard to get out of as the Bluetooth has gone again .And it's a waste of expensive materials.this machine really needs to work some other way. I really would like to have my money back £250 is a lot to spend on a failure.
Great product with enough to start projects if you have no idea what you are doing - like I was! Much better than the 'Joy' - so definitely worth spending that extra bit of money for this one! Highly recommend for personal, or business use! So far I've made stickers, window stickers, personalised bowls, bandanas and ID tags for my dog boutique! Great - and super happy with it and the service received from JL.
Great little machine and a major upgrade from the Joy. I use them both as a back up to my Cricut Maker 3, but the Xtra really stands up to the task for A4 projects and print & cut projects. I am more likely to use the Xtra if I dont need the size of the Maker 3. The original joy is still used for labels and small projects. Comes with a nice assortment of material to get you going, but the A4 is a real bonus.Only downside is that the mat seems to get caught and fold at the corners a fair bit.
This machine is ideal for the work we do. It's easy to transport, covers most of the projects we work on.We also have the small Cricut Joy and Explore Air 2 but the Joy Extra seems far more practical.Also its ease of use is a bonus.
This was an additional purchase to add to my Joy and Explore as a mid-sized machine. It is a nice machine and I like the print and cut facility and the larger size than the Joy.It only gets 4 stars as the bundle was missing the Waterproof Sticker paper. not The fault of Hobbycraft as it was obviously packed by Cricut.Also only 4 stars due to the farce of tracking my order which was delivered to a local store, but not scanned in, so not show as ready for collection.
