I have only been using it a few days so far. At the moment I am happy with it and have had no problems, but I’m only giving it 4 stars because it’s expensive - much more than it needs to be. And it remains to be seen how easy it will be to replace the batteries and how long they will last. My last unit was a cheaper lower capacity CyberPower but I just couldn’t identify the correct replacement batteries because CyberPower don’t make it easy. In the end I had to replace it because randomly started to cut power to the attached devices. I’m hoping this one will fair better. I do like the front mounted USB ports. Now I can easily charge my phone, tablet, headphones etc straight from the UPS.

This backup product meets all of my requirements. Set up was straightforward. Obtaining the application was also straightforward and works well. We have endured a couple of power outages since installing this unit and it has performed flawlessly.

Pure sine Uninteruptable Power Supply. Does exactly as the name suggests. Don't plug in devices that use more than 900 watts. Perfect for your tv or computer or even some fridges. Will delay or safety shut down your device in the event of a power outage.
I received my Cyberpower 1500 UPS today. It looks modern and sleek. Good built quality. Very easy to setup (plug in and power on) and go with default setup. This is a replacement for my previous Jaycar 1500 UPS which died just after two years. Cyberpower unit is extremely quiet, I dont even notice its running, even running on battery it is extremely quiet. It displays alll the key information such as input and out power, voltage etc. it also displays time available on battery (calculated depending on power drawn by connected equipment) even when running on the mains power. Ive only had it for few hours and so far I am very impressed. Hoping it will last more than two years.
Pros: Delighted with this UPS, out of the box it was fully charged and very pleased that via USB was connects to my 2020 iMac 5K and is seen in power management. Had this for 3 weeks overjoyed with it, pure sine which I required as running a valuable iMac and a Lacie Big drive so wanted those protected. My Giga network connects through this without any speed loss. It's a slim attractive unit as UPS's go and when required replacement batteries aren't that expensive. Given all this I'd buy one tomorrow, very pleased overall and with the service from Box. Ordered late on a Sunday and arrived on the Tuesday.Cons: Nothing to report.
This UPS is exactly what I was looking for. Robust, quiet and user-friendly software. Also plenty of info on the Web regarding it. Delivery time was excellent too. Having bought other products from Scorptec, I would definitely recommend them.
Arrived quickly, seems to work, wont know until we get an outage. This review is more a review of Scorptec, who is my go to for hardware. Helpful staff, prompt delivery, good range of products.
A great looking UPS with an easy to read display filled with useful information like input voltage, load VA / Watts and run time. 6 Australian power sockets, the older model has 3 Australian sockets. The 2 USB charge ports come in handy. It's compatible with my PCs active PFC power supply and the software works great on Win10 with lots of options to pick from if you need to change the default settings. Also good for protecting game consoles and TVs from power spikes and glitches. I have been using the older model for 3 years and it has never let me down.
