Worth buying just for the lore alone. The Cyberpunk base system is simple and efficient, although some of the subsystems over complicate things a little too much. But the gold in this book is the wonderful world it contains.

Genre defining RPG, in its latest edition after a long wait. Linked, but not exactly the same as the more recently released video game and TV show (more like a prequel as it is set a few decades before 2077). The rules have been tweaked without changing too much, and the timeline moved on a few years from the definitive 2020 edition. It's fun packed in a box. It's like D&D turned into in a board game, with cards instead of dice and DM. Takes time to unbox and set up (huge amount of token and cards), but this is fun too. Quality of parts is top notch. Gameplay is amazingly designed. You can choose how much you role play, but you can definitively role play if you want. Feels like a campaign setting for D&D.

It has changed from the 2020 version. A lot of the entries in the Chrome books would completely change how things work, so this new one has base rules with wiggle room for adaptation but not complete re-writes. So far, I'm liking the revision! The one thing I wished is that they'd kept the critical system from The Witcher, which I like better.
I've only started reading the PDF version and really like what I'm seeing. Good deep lore and great world-building. As for the quality of the hardcopy, I like what I'm experiencing so far. Really high-quality binding and paper. The layout and font are also well-organized and clear. And the artwork is beautiful!
Great book, delivered in great condition. Nice to upgrade from 2020 [softback0 to rRed [hardback]. This is an absolutely fantastic game, I would recommend this to anyone. The production quality of the book itself is top tier. This book is just bad-ass.
To be completely frank I bought this thinking that the cover art would match the product in the picture. I instead got the book with the other cover art. THAT part was disappointing. However the book itself is not disappointing at all. This baby arrived two days earlier than it was expected which is super nice.
Love the updates to netrunning and combat, however the weapons have been stripped down to kindergarten level. Gone are the days of the Arasaka Manstopper and the Militech Beast Assault Rifle.Now we get "Very Light Auto Pistol" and "Heavy Rifle"No flavor, no style, no Punk. Its a horrible section, and they havent even addressed it (aside from basically saying "Here's some halfbaked "rules" to convert the GOOD guns of 2020 to this sytem.. go do it yourself."Not what I expect to do after forking out the money for a complete game system.
This behemoth of a book (450+ pages) covers both the mechanics of the game and the immense background of the setting extremely well. And if you're coming in from Edgerunners, you get to learn how the @#$% the world got to be that wrecked hellhole we all have been emotionally traumatized by.Lots of awesome art, robust rules and explanations, and fantastic world-building info.
Excellent condition and packaging! Would and will definitely recommend to others seeking this game book. Can't wait to sit down and play with the boys! The world of this Cyberpunk is deeply immersive. I bought 2020 in the hype of 2077 releasing next year. I also recommend the book, "Neuromancer", by William Gibson released in 1984. The novel is practically the godfather to the Cyberpunk universe and is a source of reference to these games. Hope this product review helps others in their decision for this 10/10 buy!
