Cyclone Aluminum flyscreen repair patches are used for easy repair of holes and tears in existing aluminum mesh screens. For use on window and door screens, no tools required. Allows hole repairs up to 32x32mm. Installation Guide: 1. Clean surface with a stiff brush on both sides of tear. 2. Press down and straighten any bent strands. Cut any ragged edges. 3. To prepare the patch loosen any horizontal strands on folded edge and remove strands up to the fold point on each side of patch. This will result in the folded sides having only vertical prongs. 4. Locate patch over damaged area with folded edge of prongs extending through the screen mesh. 5. Fold and flatten prongs around the fly screen to secure the patch in place. Handy Hints: Best results are obtained by aligning wire strands on patch with strands on damaged screen. Screens above the first floor may need to be removed for repair.
