You know, it’s just ok. Love the smell, yes, but beyond that I expected more for the price. If it was half the price then I would be singing a different tune. Easy to lather, super easy to load, good protection, but not the best slickness. Overall though, you’re really paying for the brand name, and the scent, which is nice. My $10 Proraso green does as good of a job though. Probably won’t ever buy DR Harris again unless it is on sale.

I tried several shavers, soaps and creams when the whiskers turned grey and became too course for electric shavers. I decided upon D.T. Harris Arlington Shaving Soap, and Cream. A smooth lather with a very pleasing aroma makes from consistently great shaves.

You know, it’s just ok. Love the smell, yes, but beyond that I expected more for the price. If it was half the price then I would be singing a different tune. I was regular user of Trumper Rose shave cream. On a trip to London and a visit to the Trumper store in Mayfair, we were ignored by the two young ladies minding the shop. We stopped in at D.R. Harris and were treated like we are the reason for the Royal Warrant. I switched to this shave cream after a sample. Neither is better or worse when used with a brush. But this can be used without a brush while the Trumper's doesn't work well that way. That's a boon when traveling. Still use Coral Skin Food from Trumper, but use this shave cream and the cologne.
As with all D.R. Harris shaving creams that I use (Windsor, Marlborough, Eucalyptus, and Arlington), their performance is outstanding and their scents are mild and memorable. High end price but you definitely get out of it what you pay into. Arlington is my personal favourite with a light citrus scent that is pleasant in the jar and on your face. I never hesitate when it comes to purchasing D.R. Harris Shave Creams, they are worth the investment.

You won't find this on the outer box but you do on the lid of the tin. And it is there for a reason. There is NO other shaving cream that is as silky and smooth as this. In fact it is SO smooth that it even cleans the sink that I shave in when I'm done!
