I usually buy Royal brand XX long basmati rice. I was afraid to buy this brand because so much rice is not fresh anymore. My order of this brand just arrived, (9/6/23), and it has no weevils at all!!!!! I have it cooking in my Zourushi rice cooker right now to see if the quality is there. It just finished cooking, and it's beautiful. As my Indian mom always said, it should look like long eye lashes floating down. Get this right away. I'm going to put it in my freezer so I don't end up with creepy crawlies. It is definitely XXL rice and buy it now while you can.

I really like the taste n smell of this basmati rice
This rice has a nice aroma, texture, and flavor. It is at least as good as what we expected. This is our first purchase of this item. It comes in a very good bag, seems to be a good heavy foil type material, probably to help maintain the rice inside. It was worth the additional cost compared to some other rices.
I saw this race on America’s test kitchen and thought I would try it I looked online and saw that Walmart was one of the stores with a five star rating of freshness for this particular race it is excellent well well worth the money
