Dailies TOTAL1 Multifocal 90 Pack Contact Lenses

(5,190 reviews)

Dailies Total 1 Multifocal contact lenses by Alcon were specially designed for correction of presbyopia. The contact lenses present the simplest and healthiest way to have one-day wear and provide perfectly sharp near, intermediate and distant vision. They have light blue tint for easier manipulation. Dailies Total 1 Multifocal contact lenses feature water gradient technology which means that water content is 33 % inside the lens and over 80 % on the surface. This allows the lens to slide smoothly on the silky tissue of the eye and eyelids without feelings of discomfort. The perfect hydration system of the Dailies 1 Multifocal contact lenses provides comfort that lasts throughout the whole day.

I have two brands that were recommended by my eye doctor. I still have some of the Bausch and Lomb contacts and tried to wear them over the weekend. What a difference! While I had clear vision at distance with the Total 1, I could barely see the mid-range with the competitor. Total 1 works better at distance than for Alcon Multifocals as well, when I was given those. The other brands may be cheaper, but I just need that distance vision while driving.Total 1 also fit better across the eyeball. The B&L would move around, and the Alcons would stick to my eyeball by the end of the day. It freaked me out.

Excellent. These are great for dry or sensitive eyes. Most comfortable I've ever worn. Liters cannot even feel them and can wear them deep into the a.m. hours and still feel NOTHING. WONDERFUL. AND opti contacts had excellent service. Highly recommended.

Ideal for those of us who suffer from dry eyes and prefer disposables. Its possibly the best contact lens that lives up to extended daily wear. I’m no optician but I wouldn't advice wearing contact lenses everyday. It definitely keeps your eyes moist for most of the working day.The only reason why I didn't give this product a five star was based on the bifocals. I personally would not class this as a bifocal lens, purely based on the fact that I struggle to read close up.I hope the company can improve on this element but thats my experience. Its slightly on the pricey side in comparison to other lens but I definitely recommend its worth the extra cost!

Life changing! I’m 50, and a few years ago the dreaded reading glasses became necessary. I never got the hang of always keeping a pair with me, and it was super frustrating to not be able to see! You know you’re old when you hear yourself say “When did they start printing the instructions in microfiche?” Sigh. My eye doctor had encouraged multifocal contacts, and I finally tried out the low power of these last year, with the doctor saying I probably wouldn’t want to wear them everyday, but when I was doing lots of reading they’d be handy. I expected more of an adjustment period and to not want to wear them daily, but there was no adjustment, and I was SO incredible to be able to read normal print again. Just recently it was apparent that the low power wasn’t enough. ... MoreLife changing! I’m 50, and a few years ago the dreaded reading glasses became necessary. I expected more of an adjustment period and to not want to wear them daily, but there was no adjustment, and I was SO incredible to be able to read normal print again. Just recently it was apparent that the low power wasn’t enough. My distance prescription had also changed, so I was encouraged to try the new prescription with both the low and medium powers, and was told that most people don’t like the mediums. The medium won hands down. Since I started wearing these, I am able to input data on a spreadsheet on my phone—something I need to do regularly in my active job where putting on reading glasses and typing in my phone with a dog on a leash is just too much at 50 đŸ˜«. Now I can do it on the fly. The only time I’ve put on reading glasses since having these is when I have hours of close work to do. I can’t recommend these highly enough, I feel like they’ve given me back my sight.

Great product that seemingly grows on you...literally

Loved the Dailies Total 1 line from Day 1, even before Multifocals became available. Hard to describe but they feek very "smooth" on the eyes - which ultimately means a high comfort level. I adapted within minutes to the multifocal aspect. What I don't like and why I removed one star was two-fold:1) regarding the lens wear itself, I have found with this brand that if you leave them in over the course of a long day and your eyes are dry, it can be extremely difficult to pop the lenses out, unlike every other brand I've tried. I don't know if it's because the lense is so hydrophilic, it sticks to every last bit of moisture on the eye surface, but I've found that even wetting my fingers with solution will not coax these lenses out gently. I don't know if it's because the lense is so hydrophilic, it sticks to every last bit of moisture on the eye surface, but I've found that even wetting my fingers with solution will not coax these lenses out gently. I've had to pinch and pry for over a couple minutes on occasions to get them out. Having worn lenses for most of my life, I'd consider myself extremely efficient with insertion and removal (less than 2 seconds for each process) so this is actually stressful for me when this happens. The only solution I've found so far is to curtail the time I wear them to 15 hours or up to the time that my eyes start feeling drier; which is not a bad habit in generalThe second reason for removing a star is around the interpretation of the sample box to ensure I'm getting the same strength from Clearly.ca2) the labelling on the sample box doesn't translate well to what is on Clearly.ca's order page. Maybe this is something Clearly needs to work out with Alcon. My sample box read the -5.75 MED, and the next line read MAX ADD +2.00. It's unclear on the order when +2.00 is not specified if this qualifies as MED or HIGH. Very confusing, and it led to my ordering the wrong batch. If these are truly custom orders, then this is an opportunity to cut back on these types of errors. I'd recommend to Clearly that you may want to explain on the order page that MAX ADD means +2.50 and MED MAX ADD means +2.00. Very confusing for us vision challenged consumers!

I like these contact lenses
11 January 2023

I have been wearing these contacts for a number of years. I'm quite satisfied with them as they are easy to put on and very comfortable to wear. My eyes are easily irritated and finicky and I have tried a number of different types of lenses--these have offered the best fit for me. They can be difficult to remove at the end of a long day, especially they have dried out a little, however pulling them straight down with slightly damp fingers helps with this). I'm happy to put up with this quirk as the benefit of it is that I haven't had to purchase glasses with progressive lenses.

I will buy this product again
18 September 2022

The questions in this review are weird. I bought contacts and they're asking about a frame lol.Great company. Fast service. These contacts are extremely comfortable. The bifocal action isn't great but better than others that I have tried. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is it's difficult to tell when they're inside out (other brands have a little mark such as numbers to help you). I have to go by when they feel scratchy after I put them in. I have used these for years.

The best daily contacts
5 November 2022

The contact lenses are very thin and invisible in the eyes, really comfortable. I have been using Dailies Total about five years, I tried other brands of one-day contacts, only Dailies fit well, I have very sensitive eyes. Multifocal contacts are my first experience when ordering on that site. I can read in them (my mopping -4), although it’s not very convenient, glasses in this regard are incomparably more convenient - take off and read :) But if the font is not too small and the background is not dark, then it’s quite possible to read, this is esp good for reading messages on the phone and the menu in the restaurant, other contacts did not allow. The price here is the best if discounts and bonuses, I already made the third order, the shipping is fast, contacts are ... MoreThe contact lenses are very thin and invisible in the eyes, really comfortable. But don’t forget about moisturizing eye drops, BTE of the day in the contacts the eyes feel a slight dryness of the cornea, the drops solve the problem.
