Just purchased this reel and tested it for the 2016 Sacramento River salmon season. This is my most expensive fresh water reel ever. It's a solid reel, to say the least and it looks so much better when you are holding it. I compared this Daiwa Exist 3012H to my Shimano Sustain FG 4000, and the spool on the Exist 3012H is actually slightly bigger than my shimano. However, the Exist 3012H weight slightly less. Very impress with this reel's performance thus far. The Exist's finesse mechanism feels like it will last a lifetime. With that said, Fishing tackle shop has the best deal on the market, so go get one for yourself. You won't regret it. Happy fishing and tight lines.....
