Would not recommend, this rod was very stiff and snapped first cast which I was not happy about, the reel is great but needs to be paired with the right line.

I love my Daiwa Crossfire LDZ Spin Combo. Nice whippy Rod & the fish pretty much catch themselves. Which makes for an easy release when letting them go. My first fish with it I caught a fat 36cm whitting at Jacobs Well, QLD. Can’t wait for our next fishing adventure.
Bought it about a month and a half ago, used it 5 times and caught decent sized fish, the reel however, gets scratch very easily from being put down on any surface. Now it wont cast as far and the line keeps getting caught on the reel when casting.
Reel is in good condition. Rod tip broke withing 4 hours of use and no excessive bending.
Great little combo and well worth the price. I used it for both surf and jetty fishing in SA.works great with lures and sinker,hook combinations.i find using lures the best option for this combo
Every nice rod especially the 7f 4/8kg combo it caught a 8-10kg leopard stingray very happy with what it could do!!
Just exchanged for this road combo that is still on sale but instead of it being $99:99 it cost me $120 how does that work BCF ????
I bought this rod a couple of months ago and It works very smoothly. This is great for the price and the perfect lightweight rod.
