I have been using the Daiwa DC hard body lures for over 12 months now and they are far and away the best trolling lure for flathead that I have ever used. They outfish the usual alternatives 3 to 1. They are a bit expensive and trebles often need replacement but if you want to catch lots of flathead, this is the lure for you. They are also very effective flicking , cast and retrieving. The slim line style helps them cut through the air for great casting distance.

14 species and counting ! The “DC” is my #1,2 & 3 in my top 3 lures ! It just works ! Could not recommend enough. The only drawback is that, because it catches EVERYTHING that also means snags, so I have gone through quite a lot of them ☹️

Very good lure for targetting bream. Does what it says. For those who are planning to change the treble hooks to single hooks, be mindful of the weight as the double clutch are very delicate in their balance.

Looks good in the water but never got a hit when using it for a long time. Reverted back to soft plastics and got Flathead straight away. My friend said the same thing when I told him I purchased one that he has never caught anything on them. Hear a lot of people say they have had success with them.
Amazing lure by daiwa. Casts well, and most of all fish love em. Great colour range. Couldnt be happier. Anaconda has an amazing range on offer too
Went flathead fishing on the weekend and this lure produeced excellent results. Biggest fish was 54cm. The lure is easy to cast and has a great action that flathead love. A must have when fishing in 1 - 2m of water. All up caught about 25 fish in four hours including a nice bream and whiting.
Bought my first double clutch after hearing an the hype and it lived up to it!!!Got the 60mm and for such a small lure, casts a mile!!!Have been using to target trevs in the river and they love it!!! 7 trevs in an hour but hooks are crap and straighten easily. Need to upgrade before using otherwise you'll definately loose fish!!!But lure itself is unreal.
Great lure with an awesome working action, Redfin and trout love it! Only drawback is the price which comes with the brand which will hurt if you lose it to a snag! All in all though it’s a great hardbody minnow.
First time, had it on all day another caught everything, barra, Jack, bream, cod, trevally and a 1 barracuda. Didn't get a any flathead but who could complain.The only drawback is the weak painted coating. The only thing to make the lure complete estuary king is inner paint coating like on the rapala, after the first 10 fish it was thrashed!
The Daiwa double clutch is an excellent lure. High quality finish, superb metalwork (trebles super sharp) and a proven trout lure in the impoundments of northeast Victoria. Very pleased.
