Lovely and smooth, good strong reel. One minor draw back, it would be much better with a round ball type winder/handle. Super smooth action on this reel. Definitely worth it at its price point. The only downside (which I knew from other review) is the very quiet drag clicker. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of.

Fantastic all rounder, perfect addition to a light rod for whiting, redfin or trout, has a awesome soft and smooth reeling action.

Casts well, feels very strong and sturdy, I have no doubt in its ability to reel in a decent fish, but it seems quite heavy for a 2500. Too heavy for the 3-5kg rod I've paired it with in my opinion.
It may be cheap but I did expect more from diawa. I had two of these reels and both of them seized up in less than a month of them being purchased. Washed the reels very well and used special reel lubricant for them and still had seizure in the reel. The reels never touched saltwater and only used in freshwater. Not worth it.
