Well made despite the plastic parts. Not as fine as my 35-year-old 700C (needs repair) but a very nice substitute reel for the 700. When that comes back, this will go on my wife's rod or a spare we have in case someone else wants to fish and is legal to do so. You will not regret buying this reel. Just don't deep-sea fish with it.

A very good light weight reel. Love it.
Very smooth light weight reel. Caught a couple 3 pound plus largemouth bass last weekend and handled them with ease. Drag settings work great and stayed consistent.
Great Reel For The Price. My 5 Yr. Old Grandson loves it.
The anti reverse is plastic and seems like it could break easy. But the reel seems ok for the price.

I bought this reel for my first time ice fishing and didnt wanna spend more in case i didnt like ice fishing. I only gave it three stars because for a 10 dollar reel your getting what you pay for, i have bought a few more reels that cost about 6 dollars more than this one and this one is by far a better reel, the drag is actually fairly smooth and the reel has a nice fluid feel when reeling compared to the others.. all in all for the price you would be hard pressed to find a better reel...
