I bought this reel hoping it would be suitable to fish big fish at Stanage Bay. It far exceeded my expectations. Caught big fish and didn’t look like letting me down. Fantastic value for money!

Bought this for a trip over to Fraser to put on a beach rod I hadn’t used in years. I had a bit of leftover braid so I spooled it on for a laugh. Rigged up some leader and gang hooks to float pillys to catch Tailor and that’s exactly what happened. A dozen fish were caught in the two arvos I fished whilst sinking tinnys and was super impressed with the reel for the price. I’m going to get another one for the other old beach rod.

Awesome reel easy use as easy as ABC for anyone including the new comers
Great cheap reel very smooth and handles some decent 750mm salmon.
This reel was really good for casting out far no problem
It a very good spinning reel at a good price perfect for both surf fishing and boat fishing the reel is very smooth
I’ve had this reel for about 4 years now with 20lb braid and it’s still going strong. It maybe a cheap price but it’s not a cheap reel..
The best reel money can buy. Fully metal. Cast and reel very smooth. Gear extremely quiet. Love the big handle.
I had two of these. The reel is smooth and comfortable to use. But rust destroyed them pretty quickly. If you want to service this reels, that would not be so easy like with PENNs reels.
