Dakine Wristguard Glove - Black | Snowboard Gloves

I Really enjoyed these gloves! I bought 2 pairs as they do fit a bit snug. Usually I am head to toe medium in everything type of person. But I ended up ordering a second pair in Large in order to Fit a liner inside. The Medium are good for warmer ski days. The only thing I wish was Dakine made these in Mittens to keep the fingers warmer.I am an Athletic Therapist + Canadian Ski Patroler and these function well to help prevent wrist sprains / fractures. They have a Velcro strap that goes all around in order to snug them up. The wrist guard is on the front / back of the hand and sandwiches it. There is a string as well that helps to hold them so you don’t drop them while you take a photo or something! 100% would recommend and buy again.

I bought these for my snowboarding daughter, and she loves them. She really likes that her wrists are protected and says that the gloves are super warm. She's taken out the guard that runs along the top of the wrist, which I don't agree with, but she says it is more comfortable. Regardless, the adjustable strap makes it easy to have a good fit. The only thing we thought would make a better glove is the addition of attachable cuffs (we transferred these over from another pair of gloves) so she does not lose the gloves when she makes adjustments to her boots/board.

I bought this for my snowboarding daughter last year. She likes it significantly more than trying to fit actual wrist guards under winter gloves. We've only encounter 2 problems thus far. First, her gloves did not come with inserts, so a few of her fingers do get a little wet. Second, while we love the design on the back of the gloves, the embroidery will fray. All that lovely threading just cannot survive the Velco of the wraparound strap and the scrapping of icy snow from falling and learning to board.
