Fine for general use but not great for fine work

stretched canvas (prepared with gesso) well at all for my fine work which needed a smooth, mat opaque finish.I've used it since for more general work which doesn't need
such a high quality finish, and it was ok for that...but wouldn't choose it again for preference. I do like some of their colours though, and found if I was doing a colour wash
base layer the Indian Red gave a great colour when lots of water added. Hope you find this helpful.
