I bought a bottle of this when on special recently and was impressed by its smoothness when taken straight, or with a few drops of water. Good spirit flavour with a touch of malty sweetness and lingering aftertaste.
This was my favourite of the first three. A bit spicy but very smooth, no lingering harsh aftertaste. It smells of honey and melon.
A beautifully smooth & lightly peated whisky. Smells of sweet Christmas pudding, but has a spicy taste. Perfect for someone to get them started on peated whiskeys.
I love this Scotch. It's not over priced, and it GREAT! One of my favorite!!
Have visited and tasted at this distillery. The Dalwhinnie 15 year continues to be one of my favourites. Great aromatic nose, well rounded taste that lingers beautifully in the mouth. A whiskey I recommend to family and friends.
Excellent dram. I prefer the cragganmore 12, but this is a similar price. Usually a 15 is dearer.For the price, it doesn't come much better than this one.
