on Canson Heritage, Fabriano Artistico, Saunders Waterford, Arches, and Hahnemuhle, all 140lb NOT. However, what I received recently in the 15ml tube is neither the same
hue nor similar in characteristic. The hue is far bluer, very close to Mayan Blue Genuine, and does not granulate nearly as much. I tried on all the same papers and the result
was consistent across all. I realize this pigment is somewhat affected by the fact it is composed of a natural pigment with minor variations, but what I experience...

grade, and I narrowed it down to Winsor & Newton and Daniel Smith. I got the huge dot card sets each of them offer. I ended up buying about 15 of the smallest tubes of each
brand. The DS paints to have MUCH more pigment. The depth of color of the DS paints MAKES me want to paint. The WN is nice, but nothing to write home about. If you are
trying to decide between the two, I would go DS in the 5ml tubes where possible.

the range of greens possible. I would suggest adding Hansa Yellow Medium to any artist who is mixing landscape greens. There is lots to learn about mixing colors. I might
suggest adding Mars Black by Winsor Newton but it isn't necessary. Have fun with this set!
