This Air-Volution technology I witnessed on military operations and worked very well (many years ago in Vanimao, New Guinea and the Middle East).The swag is very well made, sturdy, and will bend with any very strong pressure applied to the hoops avoiding breakages to ploes etc. The make and construction is very sound (ripstop poly cotton) and the sides don't cave in like other wide swags. I haven't tried it just yet, but, I will to do some offshore fishing in October and November on the NSW south coast.A 50mm mattress is supplied with is very comfy. This is ideal for my solo trips up and down the coast (offshore kayak fishing), perfect for overnighters, free standing ,dry, and plenty of room.I will incorporate this with a Darche 0 Deg Cool Country Lite 1100 Sleeping Bag as well.

The swag is great! The air system makes for an easy setup and pack up.The only drawback is the size of the pump.It also does not come with the pictured awning poles.Since you need to pump up the swag, they could have saved space with an air bed. But that is an easy addition that can be sorted by the owner.Overall a great product.

I did extensive research and compared a lot of swags and very satisfied that I purchased the Air-Volution 1100, first swag I have ever purchased along with the XL stretcher and honestly it is the best, night sleep I have ever had out in the bush. It’s lightweight, comfortable and so easy to set up. Literally within minutes.I would highly recommend this Darche Swag along with the stretcher.

This Air-Volution technology I witnessed on military operations and worked very well (many years ago in Vanimao, New Guinea and the Middle East).The swag is very well made, sturdy, and will bend with any very strong pressure applied to the hoops avoiding breakages to ploes etc. The make and construction is very sound (ripstop poly cotton) and the sides don't cave in like other wide swags. I haven't tried it just yet, but, I will to do some offshore fishing in October and November on the NSW south coast.A 50mm mattress is supplied with is very comfy. I have just been camping in the forest with my Wolf King e scooter towing a Burley trailer and have just got back after using this swag in below freezing temps. I pumped it up (ridiculous sized pump) mid-day in the sun, but overnight because of the cold, the roof collapsed onto me. So lesson learnt, give it a quick pump before retiring for the night if temps are much lower at night. Once I learnt that lesson it's a fabulous swag. But, that pump!! I will try a small rechargable pump after checking that the cut off pressure is a reliable 7 psi. I will be going away again in a week or two and I'm looking forward to a few more nights with my little dog in this great swag.
Had the 1100 version of this swag for a while now. It’s very roomy inside and the construction is second to none. My son was in it one night when a tropical downpour began around midnight and continued till morning and only had a few drops of water get in.Only thing I don’t like is the air pump, it’s quite large and the connections seem a bit flimsy. In fact I have had them blow apart while pumping swag up, but once pumped up swag stays up, but you must make sure plugs are done up tight. If they could supply a small rechargeable battery operated pump I think it would be a better solution than the hand pump.
I was anti-swag before i met my partner who has this swag & now i am converted. It is the most convenient, cozy, awesome swag ever. if you dont buy it for anything other reason do it just for the faces on everyone else when they watch it pop up
Very easy to set up, comfortable, wouldn’t want to be in a rush to fold down but easy enough to do. I didn’t get poles in picture and I don’t know I’d use them anyway. Experienced heavy rains and strong winds over four days. I remained dry and swag held up well with gusty winds. Very happy with my purchase.
This swag is amazing. I have spent about 30 nights in mine so far and been comfortable and warm even in the rain. Very very easy to set up and packs into bag well. The reason for writing this review is last weekend I was camped on a beach near Lucky Bay WA and around midnight we got smashed by a storm. Massive wind and rain with sand flying through the air. I had my swag set up just freestanding without guy ropes at the end and it weathered the storm and I was dry and warm when many of the other people ended up in their cars because poles had snapped on their swags. Cant recommend this swag highly enough

Comfortable, roomy, secure, warm, weather proof...Have to admit the mattress that comes with it is not to my liking at all so I replaced it with the Exped Downmat 9LW and was nearly as good as sleeping on my bed at home.Absolutely a breeze to setup and takedown. In fact it was easier than any other swag I have owned (including the 1st generation Darche Air-volution). One input for the air and it filled extremely quickly - no time at all. The air pole running the length is awesome and within a minute the entire thing was self-standing.Water-proof with no hassles in wind and driving rain.
