Be aware that is does not pack down to the dimensions listed. Of course you won't know this until you open it up, season it and get ready to use for the first time so you will have lost the opportunity to return it. The bag is not user friendly, a struggle to get it in and a struggle to get it out. We will keep rolling it up and hopefully it will soften a bit to get the roll a little smaller.

Compared with the roll up size with the foam mattress, it’s even smaller and easier.I’ll look at upgrading to the latest version ATM mattress at some point.I’m confident that an inflatable mattress and a decent sleeping bag will all comfortably fit within the supplied bag.The photo shows the swag with an inflatable mattress and nylon sleeping bag rolled up, the right side is the 70mm foam mattress rolled up for comparison.

Great swag. Tried it out in the yard at home when seasoning it. Laid in it for 5, and straight away I knew it would be good. Then it got rained on for a couple of days before I could pack it up. No dramas. I used it then out across the outback for a couple of weeks. I knew the terrain, so I picked up a cheap anti-fatigue mat to put under it before I got into double gee burr territory, and I would advise anyone buying this swag (or any) to do so. Very happy with the product overall, but I must repeat, grab some kind of protection for under it if you want it to remain waterproof from underneath, and to last. It would have been miserable picking all those spikey burrs out of the swag floor, and yes they would have gone straight through.

Great Swag. Excellent amount of space for 2 adults. Could fit a toddler in also if you needed to. 7cm mattress is decent. Comfort I suppose depends on whether you are used to a hard or soft mattress. You could always add a layer of foam. Set up was easy, read reviews about pokes so we were careful when setting up and everything was fine. Delivery from Freddy’s was quick too.
This is an awesome swag! I bought another mattress for extra comfort on rough ground, but in all honesty, the stock one is pretty good. My only complaint is that the straps that hold the swag when rolled up are far too short. I only had a sleeping bag and pillow extra in the swag and could barely get them all the way around. No chance with the double mattress.
Swag arrived with a stitching defect. After contacting Darche directly, a new swag was sent out within a week. Apart from that, the quality seems pretty good. I’m wary of the poles snapping as I have read this was an issue previously. They seem pretty strong and if handled correctly, shouldn’t be an issue. Time will tell! The canvas isn’t as taut as I would like it through the centre of the swag but it’s not a major issue.
This is our first time using Freddy’s. We have had a fantastic experience all round. Firstly, the prices are the cheapest in the country compared to some of the larger suppliers and I’m talking hundreds of dollars less. Got a very comfortable sleep out of it on first use.The swag has some nice quality of life features like sturdy tie downs for when you've rolled it up. As does the bag which is way more impressive than a bag has any right to be.One small downside...this thing is massive. Like...the advertised dimensions are accurate...but it's worth checking you really are going to be fine with dedicating the space. This swag is a great size and great quality. I used my son's and then bought my own.The poles and ropes are very good quality and easy to set up and once you roll it up, it actually fits back in the bag which was a real plus for me.Held tight on a windy night and the openings on both sides is very helpful when setting up camp.
Have had this swag for about a year. Have used it on many fishing and camping trips. It fits me and all my gear in it comfortably. Has held up great in frosts, windy nights and summer heat. Did bend an end pole within the first few months but that was covered by darche very quickly and easily. Rolls up fatter than kings double but is the perfect middle ground as it can fit across the boot of a car without a struggle due to it being 1100mm not 1500mm.
