This exceptional expression is an eight-year-old single malt Scotch whisky grown in ex-bourbon barrels. The whisky is then transferred to custom-made Oloroso sherry octave casks for at least three months. This fantastic Whisky has a deep amber color with gleaming undertones. Orange and lemon peels, chocolate peanuts, cooking spice warmth, as well as the dried cherry on the nose. On the palate, there are Amaretti biscuits, subtly toasty hints, powerful raisin as well as prune flavors, and a touch of earthy oak that lingers. At the conclusion Slightly oily with a hint of smoke, but chocolatey undertones remain.
