Perfect hard boiled eggs every time. Enjoy this little treasure because I need a dozen eggs boiled at one time to make my big chicken salad recipe! Pan boiling takes forever! Gets the whole dozen finished quickly. Peel the eggs. Toss all the other ingredients in, including the Amish green tomato relish which adds that extra good flavor and voila! Enough for hungry family and a bit for the neighbors!

I grew up using egg cookers for my hard boiled eggs and never perfected cooking them the traditional way. However, my mother's and my Grandmother's cookers were old in need of replacing. I was thrilled to find this item. It works every bit as well and the old cookers, plus it is easier to clean and is more versatile. I just need to prepare the ice bath in advance next time so they stop cooking after the timer. Warm tap water (all we have in AZ in the summer) just doesn't do it. My only disappointment is that there is no mark for 8 eggs which is the filled lower section by itself. It goes from 6 to 12.

The Deluxe Egg Cooker makes preparing recipes using large numbers of eggs, such as deviled eggs, egg salad, chicken, tuna or deviled ham salad a total breeze! Great invention that works just like it is supposed to work. Very easy to keep clean by soap and water on plastic parts and a little vinegar on Mr Clean Sponge on the base where the steamed water leaves a slight residue.

This egg cooker is amazing! It is easy to assemble and use. Just follow the instructions in the manual that's included and you will have perfectly cooked eggs in no time. Shells peel off effortlessly and egg whites stay intact without sticking to the shell. I used it to make a dozen eggs for egg salad yesterday and it only took about five minutes to peel the whole batch. There were no gouges in the whites and the yolks were cooked perfectly. I have tried other methods to cook eggs in the past, including boiling them in a pot of water and baking them in the oven, but they have never turned out as great as they do in this cute little machine. The egg poker provided was too blunt that it cracked some eggs in the first try, but after using a file to sharpen it, it works better too. After reading the reviews, I had to purchase. All I can say is- just buy it already! The ability to make 12 perfect hard boiled eggs has been wonderful. Use a couple eggs for salads, a quick snack and my husband’s favorite, egg salad. All without any guess work. Just make sure to read directions on how to properly cook them and how much water to use. I had some burning happening towards the end of cooking and realized the directions said the appliance does not rust. I just used a damp magic eraser and voilà ! Came right off. This is a must have addition for kitchen appliances. Oh! And I was confused on why there wasn’t a timer or how does the device know it’s done…it knows when the water evaporates completely, thus turning on a very cute chime when eggs are done.

Ok, so I only have been cooking omlets so far. This machine makes it sooo easy and sooo perfect. 2 eggs, ham and cheese with seasoning and OMG yummy. My son is SUPER picky about how his food looks, he doesnt like BROWN on his eggs and these come out YELLOW. PERFECT. Easy machine to use, Easy clean up. I had the smaller version before (My cats broke it) but before they broke it, I lost my cup and customer service replaced it. SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
