It does a wonderful job making Chaffles & waffles. This waffle maker heats up & is ready to cook in a few minutes. The indicator light lets you know when it's ready to open & VOILA! You have perfectly cooked items. The extended warranty gives you an extra year of service if needed, so be sure to register your waffle maker using the QR code on the pamphlet.

After one use, this appears to be a very good, small classic waffle maker. It heats quickly, waffles brown well and spillover channels work to minimize cleanup. Lack of temperature control adjustment and off/on switch is not a problem. For a more well done waffle leave on a few seconds after ready (green) light; Plug in to turn on, remove plug to turn off. Actual rating 4.5

A neighbor recommended the product and we ordered it from Amazon yesterday, it was delivered this morning and my wife said, let's try it out for dinner tonight. We opened the box and found it to be of the best quality and followed the directions, mixed up, warmed up, lightly sprayed olive oil and poured in 1/4 cup for each waffle and waited 4 minutes for our dinner. The waffles came out immediately and were done perfectly - added butter and syrup. Absolutely perfect waffles and a perfect quick dinner. Easy clean up. We are now anxious to try some different recipes.

I really liked the waffle maker. Having 4 in the same amount of time as 1 waffle was great.Two things I noticed-they do not finish by the time the green light turns on. I had to let them go quite a bit longer to get them crispy.It is NOT easy to clean! It stays in place so you can’t take it off to clean and all the tiny ridges take forever to clean! I’m sure they could make some kind of cleaning tool to include with it. This might cause me to use it less.
I love this waffle maker. It is perfect for people who want to meal prep or have big families. However, the smell is so concerning that I made 3 batches of waffles (12 waffles total) until I could no longer smell it. I did wash it and dried it prior to use. I know it probably has to do with the Teflon, but I have not been able to find a stainless steel waffle maker, so this will have to do. Besides that, it does its job and it is convenient.
I bought this for my daughter for her birthday. She has been wanting a waffle maker for the last couple of years. I looked at several waffle makers before choosing this one. Dash is probably the leading mini waffle maker brand. This has been fun to use. Obviously you can make waffles but you can also make hash browns, chaffles (my keto diet option) and cinnamon rolls to name a few. It is easy to clean in that you simply wipe it off with a damp paper towel. The only issue that I have is trying to get the waffle maker clean in the deep crevices. I’m still trying to figure that out. I definitely recommend this for quick meals that are quick to make.
I have been using a single Dash mini waffle maker to make allergy friendly toaster waffles so my child has a good breakfast on busy school days. It took about an hour to make enough for 4-5 days worth. This will speed up the process so much! Waffles bake great in this (and in the single maker too). Definitely a fan!
The spokes within this mini waffle maker don't push through the batter all of the way to achieve a great airy, crisp waffle. Ergo the batter moreso forms a pancake with dents - thus changing the texture and taste to more of a fluffy pancake. So, I am disappointed because even though both foods are mostly made with the same ingredients - their taste and texture remain vastly different and I would've preferred to enjoy waffles - the very thing I bought this product for.

However, I returned it after one use because it was pretty awful. Most importantly, it doesn't cook evenly. If you fill all the wells up, it causes the top plate to rise. Because the top plate is secured with hinges, only the front part rises while the back part closest to the hinges remains pressed down. That results in the two front waffles being undercooked while the two back waffles are fully cooked. The side wells for the that make the waffle sticks are pointless. We love our mini waffle maker! We have enjoyed making blueberry sourdough waffles in the morning, but it was taking so much time with one mini waffle maker that it kept interrupting our time to read the Bible together. Getting the maker that makes 4 at a time cuts the time I am tending to breakfast into less than 1/2 & it makes the mornings show much smoother!
