Having bought various brands of shapewear in the past, my expectations of Skims wasn't that high. How wrong could I be! These support shorts are by far the best shapewear I have ever purchased. Yes, they are tricky to get on, but I soon worked out an easy way to do it, and once on, I honestly forget I'm wearing them, they are so comfortable. The biggest positive is that they actually work, they smooth out lumps and bumps and give me a slimmer, more smooth silhouette, making any close fitting clothes look absolutely amazing! Thank you, Skims I'll definitely be back for more products! Why did I ever doubt you! I mean if they're good enough for KK, they're absolutely good enough for me! xx

First of all, I would suggest going with the size that fits your hips if you have wider hips like I do! My waist is a 28 and my hips are a 40ish. YES I tried to squeeze into a size small and NO, it did not fit! Lol I slipped one foot in and couldn’t even stretch it far enough for my other foot to go in, lol! But the medium did fit. My booty wasn’t lifted much. And I looked snatched from the front but the side view did not change much either. I guess the compression just wasn’t enough for me. It is a very soft and comfortable material and it did smooth out my body but EH, not too impressed and will be returning as I’m positive I can find something that’ll better fit my needs!

The ONLY issue is that the waist is SUPER high, like I have big hips, so there's a lot of body the fabric has to go over, but the top of the waist still tucked into my bra (mostly the bra band). And to be honest, that was the only way I could stop them from rolling down. Tucked into the bra = 0 roll down. Honestly best hack ever. Easily wore them the whole day out doing errands, no issues bending over or squatting down, it was easy enough to do all those things and it DIDNT roll down (tucked in the bra band).

I wore these under a dress to a wedding. They stayed up all night, were super comfortable and made the dress look smooth. I would highly recommend. I bought a size large and when I first opened them they looked small. You just need to take some time and get them on. Once they are up they don’t feel too tight. I weight 140 lbs, size 8 dress, 5’6”. The rubbery piece around top really works. I have tried spanx in the past and these are so much better. I will definitely order more products.
This gives me great support and comfort. Annoying part about this garment is that the edges cut into the skin. I have big thighs and the seems at the end cut into my flesh over time and leave a mark and cause some discomfort. I have bought few different sizes and all are the same. Also stitches around the open gusset tear up and thin out as a result of stretching. The thigh part was not made for women with bigger thighs (cellulite or muscular ones) - if you have small tiny thighs you’ll probably love it and the tear won’t come. The top part also rolls and cuts into the flesh but I stretch it under my boobs and it helps. I don’t have a pregnancy belt so these are amazing to have. Just keep an eye on those stitches around open gusset in case they are completely torn.
In french we have an expression, « ne dit jamais jamais » (never say never), Kim, you got me, after watching a lot of reviews on YT.I finally place my order : all the product are true to size, but to be sure, mesure your silhouette. It as absolutely stunning, I am snatch in ever place possible, « une taille de guêpe » as we say, beautiful butt and invisible under the clothing. Yet I don’t feel the pressure of the garment on my belly when I eat. This product don’t roll even when you are seated.I will for sure buy another colours and another products of the brand.
I'll start by saying these shorts are VERY comfortable and theyre the first pair I've worn where the bum cut out doesn't squeeze my butt fat through and give me weird lines on my bum. the belly area isn't much compression but it gives enough hold to smooth everything out. HOWEVER ONE BIG DOWNSIDE IS THE QUALITY OF MATERIALS. I've put these shorts on TWICE to just try on for sizing and the silicone band on the inside of the waist has cracks all over. I contacted support and they said it's because it's too small and they "usually recommend sizing up in the shapewear" which isn't mentioned anywhere except if you want a more "comfortable fit". My measurements are right in the middle range of S/M. It's so disappointing to see the shapewear fall apart after TWO TRY ONS

These are the worst pair of shape wear I have ever purchased. I first ordered a Medium according to the size chart. I wear a size 10... I LITERALLY could not get then up past my knees!!! I was so disappointed that I returned them. On a whim, I gave it one more chance and ordered an XL considering I thought the mediums were SO small. Okay so I tried the XL on and they were still very very difficult to get on. It's like they are impossible to get on past the knees!!! Once on, they were okayish but the length of the short was too long and when I try to hike them up, the band of the short was cutting the circulation off of my upper thigh. THERE IS ALSO A WEIRD HOLE IN THE CROTCH?! I HATED THESE AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!

Its tight but the kinda tight that is an effective tight, not that useless tight shorts that does nothing on the outside. Most importantly it doesn’t slip downwards on the tommy edge nor slips upwards on the thigh edge. At first you feel it’s tight but since it doesn’t move from it’s place whatsoever you eventually forget about wearing it. Off course you feel better when you come home and take it off at the end of the day but at the same time you feel very satisfied of how you looked on that day.
