I would give this 5 stars, but my mixer arrived with some blemishes in the paint. The mixer itself is great, it came with all the attachments (which I’m aware some don’t) and it’s a really sturdy, attractive appliance. It looks lovely on my worktop! It is a little bit loud but I think that is to be expected of a mixer really.Despite the fact that I knocked a star off for the fault in the paint, AO were really helpful and offered me a discount off the mixer I had delivered, or to have a replacement and they let me think about it overnight. Very happy overall :)

Absolutely love my Smeg mixer. I grew up with a kitchen aid mixer in my house hold and have wanted one for myself since I’ve moved out on my own. Well after 10 years of being on my own and still hand mixing all sorts of cakes, cookies batters, doughs, cakes I decided to buy a mixer. Buying A SMEG mixer was the best decision I’ve made for my kitchen. I’ve whipped up whipped cream faster than any mixer in the past. It’s strong and steady when making doughs and it’s much quieter than any other mixer I’ve seen. Also I love its retro look. Couldn’t ask for a better mixer.

Love this mixer. It not only looks smart as a feature in the kitchen but its powerful motor does a fabulous job mixing or whipping just about anything. The range of attachments are useful but not overwhelming. Very straightforward to use. I have been baking and cooking up a storm since buying this! Highly recommend.

I have had this mixer for 18 months and it is now out of warranty.It crapped out while mixing a meringue on a high speed with the wisk attachment. Started making a loud noise. My husband thinks it might be a ball joint. It dropped a bit of oil into the meringue. I called Smeg USA service and because it is out of warranty, there is not a whole hell of a lot they can do. The representative volunteered to send me a parts diagram to take to a local small appliance repair person and see if they can identify which part is required, and then "we will take it from there".I have used this mixer probably about twio to three times a month over the last 18 months. Honestly, I am not a heavy user.Another observation is that with regular cleaning, the graphics on the unit ... This product is superb. Especially the cream model. It matches the other kitchen appliances beautifully. When it comes to mixing the cake mixture was blended just right. It whips egg whites to the exact stiffness you require in no time at all. Also beats cream perfectly. The bowl is an excellent size especially for larger quantities. The handle is an amazing advantage when lifting the bowl in and out and when scraping out contents. Cleaning is so easy too. Takes no time to wash and can conveniently go in the dishwasher if you are looking to save time. I can fully recommend this wonderful mixer to those still in the valley of decision. Its a great choice. You can't go wrong choosing this superb product.

Got this to match my smeg blue kettle and toaster and I’m so glad it recently changed so the whole mixer is blue, previously it was half stainless.It seems to be great quality, it has a good weight behind it, the attachments are all heavy duty but very easy to attach.This one is so much more quiet than the cheap one I was using before this, I can talk at a normal volume over it at full speed, and I love the slow start function so less flour flying around.I’m not one to go with the same trends as everyone else and I’m really glad I got this instead of a kitchenaid!
