Davines Alchemic Silver Shampoo 1 Litre

Love this product! Was introduced by a salon professional who said my natural hair color had too many colors and looked brash. Shocked and embracing my age, decided to try the product. Use it daily. Conditioner every other day.Strangers walk up to me and comment on my hair. Both men and women. Either women who wish they had the confidence to go natural or men who wish their wives would feel confident enough to go natural and embrace their gray. All make me feel great, but I do it because my hair is healthy, beautiful and shiny.My Mom is now using the product...the highest compliment of all! Thank you Davines...we love this product.

I recently just purchased this shampoo since I didn’t have a toning product for my blonde hair. First off, I really liked how heavy and cute the packaging was. When I opened it, the smell is not unpleasant but not something I would typically gravitate towards to. It’s something you quickly get used to as you use it more and more. The lather was something really luxurious as it instantly made my slightly dry and brassy hair feel a lot softer! By the end of my wash, I noticed a huge difference in the tone of my hair! The only concern I had with this product was the amount of product for the price, since I have insanely thick hair but even then the product has lasted me about a month and a week.

I am sometimes wary of bluing shampoo because some can leave that blue haired lady look but this one no. I leave mine on 10 minutes once every two weeks in place of normal shampoo and wala great gray hair. As a precaution if you have processed or bleached hair do a test first. This can just like other violet and blue based products become trapped in porous areas leaving a not so nice blotchy mess. It comes out but why risk it. I have dirty blonde hair with blonde highlights and this really does a great job to keep them bright! It tones them from yellow blonde to a cooler blonde. With the conditioner it performs best. I use this product about once a week, no more, because I feel it is not very nourishing. After I feel I need a to use a leave in conditioner to de tangle and provide moisture.

I’m a dark brunette who once upon a time had some silvery blonde strips in my hair. My friend gave me Davines to use with them to contribute tinting them and keep it looking fresh. I loved the results and really felt the tinting element of the shampoo/conditioner combo really worked. So much so I’ve passed it on to my friend who is noticing a coppery time in her new blonde. You should use it too, you won’t regret it!!!

I love this shampoo for platinum blondes. I use once a week because it maintains the clarity of my fresh color without drying it out completely. I wish it gave more shine, sometimes I feel my hair will look dull after using. The smell is so sweet and not too heavy or overwhelming. I don’t use daily due to it being 27.00 for a small bottle but sometimes I mix my daily with this so I’m not using more than nickel size. Davines has quality blonde rinses and shampoos and doesn’t break the bank. I highly recommend. This is the perfect shampoo for blondes. It is color depositing and really saves you trips to the salon for toners. Don’t expect any of their products to lather because that’s not their intended purpose. I will recommend you getting the silver alchemic conditioner as well because, the shampoo by itself can make you hair feel a bit dry. The product does show even better results when used either the conditioner (it’s moisturizing and has a stronger pigment) all in all I highly recommend this for your blonde needs :)

We carried Davines at a salon I used to work at and I am super sad my new salon doesn’t carry it. I love the alchemical shampoo so much. It’s very different in terms of a pigmented shampoo because it is very blue toned but clear at the same time if that makes any amount of sense. I felt like it really toned out that annoying yellow every blonde in the universe has and complains about. Great shampoo and well worth the investment. Gets hair very clean as well.

I’ve invested a lot in hair products in order to make sure my hair stays as blonde and healthy as possible while also avoiding the dreaded yellow/brass that darker hair will usually turn if bleached.This Silver Shampoo is one of my least favorite of the collection I now have. It smells a bit like baby powder, and it does not lather up well at all in the shower. I have tried various purple shampoos and conditioners by far this is the best.It brings up the silver in my gray which I prefer. It creates a nice shine and it doesn't stain my shower.Give it a try. Their sample size could be a great introduction to the product line
