I use the Minu shampoo and conditioner. I am not sure how they would work independently or if one is better than the other because I always use both together. My hair feel soft and I have noticed that my color is lasting longer/stays looking good until my next appointment. The packaging is terrible however and I have broken two nails and chipped many more trying to get the shampoo bottle open while in a wet slippery shower. Wish they offered a pump or built in squeeze bottle version where you didn’t have to fuss with flipping the lid open.

Minu Shampoo restores and shines! Simply amazing!I am a half Asian female with naturally black hair. Long story short I have been coloring my hair red/blonde/brunette with highlights for the past 34 years. I have always used high quality products that my stylist recommended like Alterna, Bumble and Bumble, and others. They have helped keep the coloring damage down but it seemed to be getting very dry with split ends espcially after I turned 55. My sister's (very bluntly) told me last year that my hair was looking very bad!! My stylist changed salons to one that uses your products exclusively. Second my sister's and others told me after about six months of use how my hair looked healthy again. They were walking behind me and they said it was the best they had seen in years! Unbelievable comments I get now! I'll take all I can get! I also don't need to wash my hair as often as I used to. I am SO happy to have found your products. Also I was a rep in the beauty/perfume industry for 23 years and became fragrance sensitive and your products do not bother me. Thank you!!!

Overpriced for Harsh and Damaging ProductThe MINU Shampoo along with the NOUNOU Conditioner was recommended for my hair condition and goals, by their customer support. Let me insert here that their customer support is a hit or miss in terms of response in both timeliness and effectiveness. For example, it has been over a month since I requested a return and I have yet to be helped. What is the point of products about which some rave, if the company does not hold up on their return policy as well as customer service? Well in this case, the products don't even work (my personal experience of course) so it's insult to injury. Further, I had to go to a dermatologist because this and/or the NOUNOU rendered my hair drier and my scalp tender pink with a dry, itchy burn ... MoreOverpriced for Harsh and Damaging ProductThe MINU Shampoo along with the NOUNOU Conditioner was recommended for my hair condition and goals, by their customer support. I will inform the public as necessary, to stay away altogether.

MINU feels nice and is okay, but I have fine, highlighted hair and it just doesn't soften it enough. I have used the OI oil and that does help, but honestly the OI shampoo and conditioner work better for my hair. In fact, OI leaves my fine (but thick) hair feeling moisturized without being weighed down at all. The MINU shampoo and conditioner left it feeling flat.

Great for fine color treated hair. This shampoo smells divine and feels luxurious in my hair. My ends tend to be dry from coloring every 8 weeks. With most hair care combos I can not skip the conditioner but I have with Minu. Amazingly, I could still comb my hair without snagging and my hair felt soft. I have used the conditioner without feeling like my fine hair was laying flat. This photos is without additional products or styling my typical lung unruly fine hair.

I have thick curly hair and skimpy products will not do the job. This shampoo does it all. I truly feel it cleans my hair and scalp, while also providing other benefits. I pair with a Davines conditioner and my hair has never been better!

Another favourite from Davines
28 April 2023

I use both VOLU and SOLU (I'm a big lover of Davines shampoos). I purchased this as an alternative to VOLU whilst it was out of stock, and really enjoyed it. I notice more of a difference with VOLU due to having flat hair but I still liked MINU. Overall, every Davines shampoo I have tried has been lovely.

BEST SHAMPOO YOU'LL EVER BUY
12 July 2017

This shampoo smells beautiful and will perfume your hair until the next wash. It doesn't strip the colour from your hair, so you will get longer between salon visits. This is especially good for people with darker hair like me, who find that cheaper shampoos immediately strip toners and colours. The shampoo is chemical-free, natural smelling, and leaves hair feeling moisturised - this is why previous reviewers may have felt that their hair didn't feel 'clean' as the shampoo doesn't strip the hair of its natural oil, it gently lifts unwanted dirt from the hair. You need a pea sized amount for both washes - on the first wash concentrate on your most greasy areas (crown, roots round the face, and neck area). You need a pea sized amount for both washes - on the first wash concentrate on your most greasy areas (crown, roots round the face, and neck area). The second wash is when the product lathers up to fully cleanse any remaining impurities, so now you can incorporate all your hair into this wash. Don't be tempted to use more than a pea-size amount to get a lather - you're only wasting product and a small amount is doing the job (trust me) without unnecessary bubbles. God knows why you'd want a load of suds on your head anyway. This is not like artificial, cheap, high street products so will perform differently. Forget any expectations that you might have with traditional shampoos, and you'll be chuffed with this. I've been using it for 3 years and whenever I have strayed to another i can immediately tell the difference in my hair and end up going back to it.

Nourishing for Compromised Hair
11 July 2023

My hair has gone through 2 rounds of bleach and I'm now on the way back to natural-colored hair. This shampoo feels protective and nourishing, my favorite line from Davines! It also bubbles up enough to clean scalp, without feeling stripping.

Second Order
23 March 2022

Im getting ready to reorder my 2nd bottle of this fantastic shampoo. I have very dry, colored and highlighted hair. Before using this shampoo my hair was like straw. My hair is thick and I had trouble styling it. With Devines Minu my hair is soft but retains elasticity when styling. It doesnt smell great in the shower but has a wonderful soft fragrance once hair is fully dried. I truly recommend it. It is worth the price!! Plus you dont need to use much product for a great result.

All products in the Davines Minu series are enriched with Salina caper flower extract, which is rich in quercetin, a powerful amino acid. This protects the hair structure and color from fading thanks to the included polyphenols, while providing long-lasting shine. The producer of this special caper flower is an agricultural business run by Salvatore D'Amico from Leni, on the island of Salina, in the province of Messina. All Davines shampoos have proven to be very economical after extensive testing. The hair should be thoroughly dampened before applying the Minu shampoo. Then, as usual, distribute the product in the hair, massage it in, and rinse out. It is recommended to use the Minu conditioner in addition to the shampoo for further hair treatment.
