Davines Momo Moisturizing Shampoo 250 ml

This shampoo smells and lingers too long for me. I liked how it made my hair look. However, I could still smell this shampoo even after washing with something else two days later. Personally, I don't like scents that linger for a long time (even if I like the scent). But in this case, I didn't like the scent either. If you like the scent and enjoy scents that linger, this shampoo may work for you.

I bought the Momo shampoo, conditioner, and leave in. Upon shampooing my almost-b cto-mywaist long wavy, curly hair I knew it would be great. It just felt better somehow; it was more than just clean? I left the conditioner, on the ends below the ears, for about 5 minutes, and then after squeezing & scrunching out as much water as could, I applied a puddle (about a 1/2 dollar coin sized) of the leave-in overall, using the two flat hand (pane of glass) approach, plopped in towel for ½ an hour and then waited for it to completely dry. It took all day in the rainy AZ desert. Result? Amazing, soft, shiny curly locks. I had been considering cutting the dry, lifeless ends. Not anymore!!! 🥰

I got this perfume as a Christmas gift in 10th grade! I never had an expensive perfume before this one. And oh my goodness was it the best smelling perfume I’d ever owned. I got compliments daily and still do to this day. I have been buying this perfume regularly for the last 5 years! Highly recommend.

This has been one of my diehard staple shampoos in my rotation of favorites for years. Like facial cleansers there is nothing in my routine that starts off good haircare like a quality shampoo. For those of us who dont have effortless hair and can grab anything with no issue lol finding a quality shampoo is rare with so many things on the market whether drugstore or high end literally full of just crap ingredients whether silicones, sulfates, drying agents and just endless chemicals that arent doing you any favors. I have had naturally very frizzy and pouffy (not damaged at all) wavy hair all my life so always have needed a shampoo to be gentle/moisturize yet not weigh my hair or scalp down as pretty much all moisturizing shampoos that are targeted for super thick hair seem too. That is probably why I have become an ingredient nazi on all fronts skin, body, and haircare. I've tried many salon lines in my life and rare of them are worth the high cost as Davines simply is. I have tried all their formulas and Momo is my absolute favorite of not having a sickly perfume fragrance as some of theirs do similar to Oribe pproducts, great formula/ appreciate the brands mission, and simply is the softest most natural light moisturizing lather leaving my hair so hydrated and soft but still feeling clean. Couldnt ask for more and per the quality all the products from this line are super concentrated so it really goes a long way and lasts forever for me which is why I typically buy the travel size bottles having much more fresh products when rotating with my other shampoo staples from Klorane and Leonor Greyl. The Curl Shampoos from Davines are great too and what I recomend to several friends who have much thicker kinkier hair than my more fine to medium waves. If you are chosing between Momo and Nounou, Momo definitely is the better moisturizing shampoo imo not having all the protein and keratin Nounou has considering it is for the most damaged weakest hair on top of the extra moisture provided. Protein heavy shampoos only make my hair more dry as the case for many.

Top notes are Green Notes, Raspberry, Pear and Grapefruit; middle notes are Violet, Litchi, Apple Blossom, Rose and Jasmine; base notes are Musk, Plum and Virginia Cedar.

I received the MOMO shampoo this month in my MyLittleParis beauty box and was immediately thrilled by the very pleasant scent of the shampoo, it smells EXTREMELY GOOD or better said AMAZING, truly INCREDIBLE (has a fruity melon scent)!!!! After washing, the hair feels really clean, light and fresh, is super soft and has a beautiful shine!!! The shampoo is also very gentle on the scalp, it causes no irritation, so therefore it's just perfect and super recommendable if you have a sensitive scalp!!!! Other plus points: The shampoo consists only of natural ingredients. It is also sustainable (in production), has a zero impact as well as a recyclable packaging and is vegan friendly, too!!!! This scent is beautiful my go to. So fresh and citrus noted but without being overpowering. It’s a super feminine scent but stays on the more subtle side. Lasts for hours too! And of course we can’t ignore that bottle, worthy of being displayed on a vanity. Beautiful fragrance!

This is the perfect girlie fresh scent. It’s lovely for spring and summer or whenever you’re craving a clean light scent. I’m in love with the packaging - the daisy on top is adorable. It lasts a long time without being overpowering. I prefer the dabs and roll ons compared to the sprays.

Hair recovery!!!

I’m a little puzzled by the bad reviews on this but I guess everyone is different. I’ve always had great hair- UNTIL I had my first daughter (now almost 4), and then lived in China for a year and a half. Between the hormonal changes and living in a different country while my body tried to recover from pregnancy, my hair was like straw, brittle, and flat with no life. My scalp was itchy and dry. I tried so many different types of shampoos over the course of two and a half YEARS. Trying to get my hair back to normal- washing my hair less, more, experimenting with brands, techniques, etc. I finally found a hair dresser that introduced me to MOMO and it LITERALLY changed my life.
