This will forever be a staple in my bathroom from now on— my husband has had psoriasis and dandruff on his scalp for as long as I can remember. He had long 3a curls which we recently cut as his scalp had gotten so out of control his hair was thinning excessively. I have bought him everything under the sun that’s marketed towards his issues— head and shoulders, prescription psoriasis shampoo, kerastase symbiose, oribe serene scalp, biolage, redken, r+co…. The list could go on. He also utilizes red light therapy for his scalp every other day. After a month of use, his scalp has 0 plaques of psoriasis, 0 signs of dandruff, his hair fall when washing is much less, and his hair has visible shine without being weighed down. This made my hair smell like it was burning. I used it twice, and the first time I thought the smell was caused by my hair dryer. However, I used it a second time about a week later and let my hit air dry, but it still smelled awful. I’m guessing the anti dandruff ingredient (some sort of acid) was chemically burning my hair. Yikes. Definitely not using this again. I bought this as a clarifying shampoo and it worked fine, but I will not be using it anymore due to the smell and potential damage it could be causing to my hair.

I’ve struggled with flakes/dandruff for a good amount of my 20’s and was never able to find a good anti-dandruff product. I’ve tried a lot of products from drugstore to high-end, but nothing really got rid of my dandruff 100%. (Even the highly-rated T-gel didn’t cut it). After using this anti-dandruff shampoo TWICE, I saw my flakes reduce significantly!!! It’s an amazing product that I will keep using and hope they never discontinue this product. I love the smell and it lathers quite nicely for me, despite what other reviews have been saying. Highly recommend for dandruff sufferers like me~ 10/10

It pains me to write this, as I love the mission/ethos of this company, but this shampoo was really disappointing. It didn't help the dandruff at all, even after repeated use, and the smell was really off putting. Sort of an "off" medicinal/chemical smell. Even after my hair dried, if I worked up a sweat at the gym, the smell would coming strongly back - made me feel self conscious and also made me hope no one around would smell it. This stuff isn't inexpensive, so to get both no help with dandruff and a bad smell, well, I'd suggest you try a different product.All the other shampoos and conditioners I've tried from Davines smelled great, so this was a surprise.

My hairstylist noticed I had dandruff… (I knew I did) lol so she washed my hair with this stuff and it was great… it was the first wash, so I wasn’t sure if it REALLY worked. At the end she sold me on it, and I started using it. It definitely made a difference, my dandruff was going away quickly. However, I recommend only using it once or twice a week. Pretty sure that’s what it says to do as well. If you overuse, it might cause oily hair or have the opposite effect and create more dandruff. You really have to lather and massage it into your scalp to get the full effect, so give it a try and don’t give up!

Great product, it really works

I suffer from itchy, flakey scalp because I'm always experimenting with different hair products to bring out my curls. I was skeptical at first, but after using it 2x a week for 3 weeks, I really felt a difference. I had relief from all the itching.After I ran out, I stopped using it completely for a few months, and because I wasn't doing the maintenance - my dandruff came back. But it's proof that the product really works for me, so it's 100% worth the price.Sir Joe from Qubo MNL (who has no affiliation with Davines or HairMNL) recommended this to me - as he has with all his clients who experience dandruff. And I'm happy I listened to him and gave it a go.

Holy Grail for Dandruff Care

I bought this at the start of the pandemic just to try it out. I was surprised that it worked so quickly after a few days of use. It might have taken about 5 washes before I saw that the flakes were completely gone. Now, I only buy the big bottle since dandruff is something that needs to be managed indefinitely. Too bad they don't have the 1 liter in stock as of the moment so I bought a smaller bottle since I ran out. For those of you who have issues with dandruff, I suggest you try out the 250 ML bottle. If it works for you then go ahead and just invest in the big bottle. So far, there does not seem to be any resistance experienced from continued use. I dont use it everyday as maintenance. The Best Dandfruff Beater!

Dandruff has always been a seasonal problem for me. I start to flake out when the season changes, I'm stressed or just simply use a shampoo my scalp isnt used to. Tried a number of dandruff shampoos and by far, this one has been the best one. I used it alternately for 2 - 3 weeks until my flakes were all gone. I use it for maintenance now or when I start to feel my scalp is about to flake again. It has quite a strong smell but bearable since the shampoo itself is really effective. It also lasts for months so really worth what I paid for.

As stated in the instructions on how to use, I planned to use it alternately with Davines Well-Being Shampoo: For All Kinds of Hair, however when I tried to do it the first week, I noticed the dandruff is still there. Parang di nawawala.I have the worst dandruff ever, as in super itchy ng scalp ko and sometimes when scratched, nagkaka sugat which is really annoying. I cannot wear any black clothing. The dandruff I have isn't just small flakes, they're as big as 8-9mm kapag nakita mo. Yes, I know how big it is. Kaya I really had to find the best anti-dandruff shampoo. Yay! I didn't want to write a review until I am sure na hindi na babalik ang dandruff ko - now it is clear and I can wear black anytime. BTW, sobrang tipid nya din gamitin, after a month of using the 250ml, I still have half of it remaining, but I am ordering again, kailangan maraming stocks. Super thumbs up!
