My 12 year old daughter has an oily scalp and oily hair. She has frequent acne on her forehead and even under her hairline around her temples. I read that this product was a great clarifying shampoo and decided to try it to see if it could remove some oil from her hair. After just 1 use, we could see a difference. Her hair wasn't as oily, but better yet, her acne immediately started to calm down. Within 3 days it was dried up all along her hair line. After about 2 weeks of use, it also seems to be preventing pimples from other places on her face. We're amazed to see how much this shampoo is helping. I also love that it doesn't have any harmful ingredients. What a find!

I have been using this product for the past 2 years as a monthly clarifier for my hair. Its a great product! It gets my scalp feeling very clean and free from buildup as I have 3b/3c curly hair. I was introduced to this product from my hairstylist and I still continue to purchase! Definitely recommend for curly heads

Best clarifying shampoo for blond straight fine hairThis shampoo is amazing for removing minerals from my hair. I read Chelseas review and I couldn't be more opposite on the hair spectrum. I do not use any products besides shampoo and conditioner. I have the straighest finest blond hair. For some reason my hair absorbs the minerals in the water which makes it feel and look like I have left the conditioner in. My hair always looks like I haven't washed it for a few weeks. I used this shampoo one time and OMG my hair is amazing. I had been using cider vinegar but it was left dry and yucky. This shampoo is amazing. Wow!! I had no idea how much I needed to be using a clarifying shampoo. I found this one of a “best of” list and bought a travel size to test it out. First wash with and my hair looks and feels amazing compared to the state it was in prior. Every time I shampooed and conditioned, my hair would look and feel dirty when it dried. One wash with this shampoo and my hair is SO soft, clean and shiny, and has really nice natural volume to it (which is a big deal to me because my hair is naturally fine and usually looks pretty lifeless). I’m so glad I gave this a try. I will absolutely be keeping it in my weekly rotation. Now I need to know what other davine products I should be using!!

I love this shampoo SO MUCH. I have low-porosity curly hair and I can get a lot of buildup. Every shampoo I used before made my hair feel super brittle and rough after using it and I would only use conditioner sometimes because of that but this shampoo literally feels like I used conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and silky and my scalp clear. It also smells SO GOOD. Anyway, I swear by it and highly recommend!

Best shampoo for fine hair

This is a gentle clarifying shampoo. It is very good for fine, oily hair. I typically wash my hair once every 3 days and use dry shampoo in between. This lathers decently with some work but you do not need a lot. Wont buy anything else and its hard to find!

Greasy Hair Hero

For context, my hair is straight, long in length and my scalp gets greasy easily. This product really, really works. It’s clarifying but does not strip your hair (no squeaky lathering here!). It’s gentle enough to use on a regular basis - I wash my hair almost everyday and use this 2-3 times a week. If you have lots of build up or a greasy scalp, I’d really recommend this!

Great "detox" shampoo!

If you love to use "detox" shampoos and feel your hair and scalp being squeaky clean - this is one of those shampoos! Washes grease, oil, hair products and leave your hair literally bare! I use this and Ouai "Detox" shampoo and love them both! All age groups, but especially if you have oily hair and/or use a lot of hair products.

Great for oily hair with sensitive scalp | grapefruit smell

My hair is very straight & fine and due to stress, I experienced a dry, flaky, itchy scalp, and more hair loss than usual over the last year. Doing a weekly apple-cider rinse really helped rebalance my hair and scalp but even after stopping these treatments, my hair now gets very oily much quicker... This SOLU shampoo allowed me to go from washing every other day to once every 4 days and despite leaving my hair a little bit dry for a few hours just after washing (expected of a clarifying shampoo), my scalp still feels great and hydrated. I use dry shampoo every day (fringe) and SOLU truly leaves my hair very clean. The smell amplifies that very clean feeling; it smells like grapefruit but only during washing.
