We had a swiss grill before. The good on this one is the two hotplates instead of the one. Its easier to clean. The stone was is a bit more harder to ckean. Compared to my older swiss grill this takes a fair bit longer to melt the cheeses. Otherwise all good.
I used it the first time and worked great. I used it again many other times but is not heating properly any more, even on maximum temperature once you put the meat on the grill loses all the hit and doesnt cook properly. Very disappointed
This product is really fun! We bought it for an upcoming birthday celebration where we plan on doing a sushi train and Korean bbq. We’ve already done a few trial runs and will be using this on a regular basis. It’s a great family activity and we’ve enjoyed the novelty.
Even though this is a 8 person grill it isnt big enough. Far better with only 4 people involved. It does make an enjoyable evening using it with the different ideas people come up with as they are cooking. Yes I would recommend it but only for small intermit groups of 4.
Just tried it for the first time and loved it, it heated up quickly. We had a lovely raclette party.The only downside is the cleaning of the stone plate - it is extremely difficult (that is why I can't give 5 stars).Rest of the parts are very easy to clean.
Bought this Raclette to enjoy an indoor BBQ, didn't get dissapointed. Lovely Raclette, just be aware a Raclette is nothing for a quick meal, it is made to sit together with friends at a table for the evening and chat and have fun and eat lots and lots of food. Good purchase.
Stone part is sticky and can't be cleaned properly, really annoying. Never use again the stone part. The rest is ok Very average
