Took me almost a year to finally decide between a rimowa aluminium trunk vs the DB ramverk. I am so glad I made this decision. While comparing to the aluminium suitcase1. Its around 75% cheaper2. It has almost the same space as a trunk plus3. It does not dent and disfigure4. Endless compliments from fellow travellers

Have spent years and thousands going through different luggage companies. This is fantastic, the quality is unmatched in the market. Surprised at how light the bag is for how well built it is. Will be buying another for my partner.

i orderd the Check-in medium and the carry-on size ramverk pros back when they were announced. the design of the suitcases is great, and they are stylish.however, i travel a lot (airline pilot) and unfortunately, after about a month, the check-in medium suitcase has slowly taken some damage. both plastic shells started to get cracks and holes around the edges at the top.Airline life is hard for suitcases, and they usually last about a year and half, however the Ramverk getting holes after an equivalent of about 12-14 flights is very DISAPPOINTING.

The product I received has a defect case molding. I contacted Db and received nothing in reply on 22nd of December. Then I tried filing for a warranty email a few days later - but it was not possible to do for this product since it’s a new one (don’t know why… since it’s possibly to buy it). Then I wrote another email to them via contact form and am still waiting for a reply to this day...The product was intended as a Christmas gift - clearly that did not work out.The defect is quite obvious and in the outer shell. I cannot understand the quality control process if something like this can slide by so easily.I have plenty of other Db products. It’s quite disappointing.Such things happen, but it should not take more than 24-48h for a reply on such an issue. ... MoreThe product I received has a defect case molding. Absolutely delighted with my purchase. Just back from travelling and it's easily the best piece of luggage I've ever had. Love the easy to use lock which gave me piece of mind. Lightweight but extremely sturdy, and also phenomenally stylish. Will be buying more of the range. Highly recommend.
I put this bag through a "test" domestic trip, filling it as heavy as allowed to see how it survived the airline baggage handling. I am very happy with this piece of Db luggage: it is sturdy and well-built! I will definitely consider purchasing a carry-on in the future.
This is the PERFECT size for not only for travel for a week or so but also for long weekends away as a couple we now only need 1 case. The attention to detail is fantastic and it feels ultra premium. Would highly recommend.
Opening and closing is a breeze, compared to traditional zipper luggage, with the locks. Simply click both locks and the case pops open.I’ve been waiting for the hook-up system on a hardcase suitcase, it definitely makes traveling with Db products less tiring. I do miss one more anchor point at the top, so that the rucksack doesn't hang so low. The handles on the ramverk (26L) can hit the ground if you do not tuck them in.I also wish the handle could extend a bit further, as my feet hits the luggage when rolling it at an angle. Db claims on their website that the aluminum frame is super sturdy and is ready for anything. Well, mine got bend after just one trip from Amsterdam to California, resulting in a suitcase that has a permanent gap when I close it. You can’t blame the airport for that, especially if you claim that your product can withstand anything. Also the ‘super sturdy’ frame makes the suitcase pretty heavy, resulting in less room for your clothes due to weight restrictions.When I contacted db they didn’t reply and just send me a voucher of €100. Considering the price tag, the quality is terrible. It came to the baggage claim with pieces already broken, the FIRST TIME I USED IT.Yes, it's aesthetic, but if you want luggage that can handle the abuse of being checked (even just once) this is not the luggage for you.
