Pros: It’s a water filter- apparently we need to replace it ever so often.Cons: I frankly don’t care what it looks like and as it is something I need to replace it had better work otherwise I will be looking for a replacement coffee machine. I am also sick of being plagued by these stupid things asking me just how much I like and how wonderful descalers and water filters are. Frankly I think they are overpriced and I am really not sure I need to replace them as often as the machine tells me.

Pros: This is a strange thing to review, is it not, it's a water filter, it has a purpose and unless you have the technology to confirm it is doing what it is supposed to do, you take it on good faith that it works.I mean, reviewing Appearance/Style, what are you supposed to say, has clean lines and curvaceous body, I think not. Ease of Cleaning, well is that not the point of it, it cleans and is immersed in water, so I do hope it cleans.Cons: None.

Pros: A filter was supplied with our new coffee maker, so we continue to use it. The purchase was recent, so we don't know what happens if we leave it out. It certainly does not interfere with general use and the coffee tastes better in this than the old one (which we thought was pretty good!). So that might be down to the action of the filter? We are going to keep using it in the machine. Each one lasts two months.Cons: The filter is a bit fiddly to install as it needs pre- filling with water and you have to ensure the water is getting past it when installed. It can be removed when de-scaling is needed and re-installed afterwards.
I bought this very expensive machine and the company or no where else sells it’s water filter. All the filters made are not for this machine. There’s no way to change it.
