Would have preferred a Zipper instead of the unique way of locking the bag. Not comfortable for me. Just changing the closing method from clip to zipper will do the trick. The option for zipper was not there in 20 litre foldable bag. If there is one, would go for that. please note, I used it for 1 day trek & did not find it comfortable, but nothing fell out from the bag and the day of the trek there was not rain, but it is waterproof

I've been searching for a no frills, ultralight daypack that doubles as a stuffsack for day trips and summits from camp. It seems simple enough to basically add straps to a stuffsack, but you'd be surprised how few options are out there. A roll-top, waterproof option to protect a down quilt in a backpack, and serve for day trips is a great notion. With water bottles and snacks, we took off from base and the pack failed like this: the straps for adjusting the shoulder straps repeatedly twisted in their buckles, and then slid through their buckles. I think the strap webbing material is too soft to hold form in the buckle. Also, I like the simple, adjustable sternum strap, but the anchor popped out of its webbing loop several times. The design ideas are good, but the ... MoreI've been searching for a no frills, ultralight daypack that doubles as a stuffsack for day trips and summits from camp. Too bad, because the pack is not usable because of these reasons.

Very basic bag, does as advertised for the price. Couldn't find another waterproof backpack that was packable, so this got purchased. Stitching holding one shoulder strap already failing after getting caught on a door handle, but easily fixed with needle and thread. For the price, quality as expected.
I’ve been using this backpack recently for my hand luggage bag for short haul, low cost airline, short trips (2-6 days). I like that it’s so light and basic although a front pocket wouldn’t go amiss. The straps are basic so aren’t padded but if you pack strategically and consider what you’re going to wear to travel in you can navigate this easily enough. The same goes for general bag use, pack considerately to avoid items sticking in your back. The foldable top is a nice feature although again it’s basic with not much leverage to hold the fold down, despite the side clips. So far I’ve been able to pack for short holidays with a water bottle and toiletries easily enough. I think for the price, it’s a good bag, especially with the tighter restrictions on bag sizes ... MoreI’ve been using this backpack recently for my hand luggage bag for short haul, low cost airline, short trips (2-6 days). So far I’ve been able to pack for short holidays with a water bottle and toiletries easily enough. I think for the price, it’s a good bag, especially with the tighter restrictions on bag sizes with some airlines lately. It’s also quite smart and handy enough to use as a day bag on arrival at your destination. Mine came along on a over 20k hike quite happily…
This is one of the best compact packable backpack. Ultralight and great features. Quick dry after wash. The elastic side pockets are so indispensable for quick access to essentials like water bottle, insect repellent, sanitiser or tissue. The 2 way clips to secured the top load opening give user options for preference used. Do note that the sideway clip is good when bad if fully loaded. If it's half loaded, it does not secure the opening. Price is very affordable.
I bought this bag for ultralight backpacking thinking it's so cheap and at 145g it's hard to beat so why not. So far it has performed remarkably well for what it is. It's big enough for most of my equipment and I have a bum bag for the rest. Side pockets han hold 1.5L bottles but 1L bottles are much better for this bag. Only problems are that its durability isn't great, but that's a tradeoff for the cost and weight, and its barely water resistant. Would be interested is a slightly larger one that can fit a folding ccf mat to the back to act as a frame.
Packed for use as a travel daypack after dropping luggage. Used on several trips with no signs of wear. A little shapeless if not filled but perfect for a fleece or rain jackets, water and snacks. Straps were more comfortable than they look. Water bottle holders worked well. Did not have to test the water resistance. Can’t seem to repack the bag into the pouch as efficiently as when purchased. A small fixed pocket or clip for keys on the inside would be good as the pouch hangs on straps on the inside
Title is enough to be said about this backpack. Very compact, you can fold the backpack into small piece to stash away to your main backpack/luggage or a closet when not in use. However, when needed, you can put a lot of stuff in there, what’s awesome is waterproof, not getting worry if you accidentally drop the bag onto water. Furthermore, it has 2 side pockets so plenty of room to store water bottle or sunglass case if needed. Highly recommend this for traveling to the beach/ island for leisure.
