Rating: *****Title: Extremely Durable and ReliableWaterproof TentI recently purchased this tent from Decathlon, and it has exceeded all my expectations. It's incredibly durable, handling rough terrain and weather conditions without a hitch. The waterproofing is top-notch, having passed several rigorous tests and kept me completely dry even during heavy downpours. Setting it up was straightforward, and the spacious interior adds to the comfort. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a reliable, weather-resistant tent!

I bought this tent a little over 2 weeks ago (April 7th) with the intention of going camping last weekend. The tent itself is pretty good, it's not completely dark as some light does come through, but it's darker than most tents. Setting it up was easy, so that was fine. The main issue I had, and what I contacted customer service about with no response, is that this tent is not suitable for low temperatures. You can feel the cold wind coming through all night long. The walls inside the tent are 75% mesh, which allows the cold air to seep in. It's fine for warmer nights, but not for the recent cold ones. When I purchased it, I asked a few store employees for advice, and while they explained a few things, no one mentioned that the tent was mostly mesh and would let in ... MoreI bought this tent a little over 2 weeks ago (April 7th) with the intention of going camping last weekend. So, I wouldn't recommend it.Something unrelated to this post is how frustrating the pricing can be. In less than an hour, I saw 3 different prices for the same tent!

A good all round starter tent

I purchased this tent for two young girls undertaking their first DofE (Bronze) expedition. They were inexperienced trekking and camping. Although they found it slightly heavy for their size and fitness over the distance and terrain, they managed to carry it by sharing the load. They erected the tent easily enough without training/practice. This tent appears ideal for their first, expedition but if they decide to join more advanced expeditions I will invest in more technical equipment. It appears robust so will probably be useable for short camping trips over the next few years. I will probably use it myself for short solo camping trips when my car. Personally, I wouldn’t pack it to carry over a long distance but was ideal in terms of price and practicality to give ... MoreI purchased this tent for two young girls undertaking their first DofE (Bronze) expedition. Brilliant tent. But needs a proper carry bag
21 July 2024

So easy to put up, everything fits easily together, hooks in right places. No instructions needed. Only used 4nights, but very robust, so didn’t bother putting guide ropes up. Shower proof, and I feel confident rainproof. Great ventilation, so no moisture inside even. Amazing valueBUT BIG BUTThe carry bag is rubbish, or lack of a carry bag should I say. Instead of the usual bag, you kind of wrap it up, with 2 straps. And then if you are tall enough you can carry it with the small handle on the top end. But if you are like me and not tall enough, you drag it on the floor. So I had to messily carry it in a sainsbury bag. Leaving the festival I shared a taxi with another lady whom had also just got the same tent. And she said exactly the same, as she used both arms ... MoreSo easy to put up, everything fits easily together, hooks in right places. No instructions needed. And I would love it you can send me one.Thankyou

Disappointed
19 March 2024

I expected more from the tent. Used less than 10 times - a hole appeared on a stitch between the bottom and the walls. Also the bottom seems to be developing holes. To compare I was using a non branded market bought 10$ tent in a backpacking trip continuously for a year on a variety of terrains and didn't have these issues. There is no simple pocket inside to put any small object you may need immediately. Also the assembly process is not the easiest and takes longer time than expected because of the attached hooks.Didnt expensive rain with this tent yet.Max capacity will be 2 people and 1 small backpack. 2 luggages will not enter the tent and you have to leave your bags outside in that case.Overall not recommended

First choice.

Extremely solid, waterproof, great sleep. Moderate weight. Only drawback the zip. If your feet get muddy, or any tiny mud particles, grit get on it, if you find it catches slightly it will often rapidly catch more, go wonky and no longer line up so even if you can pull the zip tab, it stays open behind. I've had 5 that's both how good the tent is but also zip failure. Keep it clean and no zip failure, but camping not usually clean.

Good Value Waterproof Tent
6 September 2023

I bought this tent as I needed a cheap, waterproof tent for a walking/camping trip I was planning. The tent was light enough to carry around with me attached to my bag, although a proper, lightweight walking tent would've been better. It was very easy to assemble, but perhaps a little harder to pack away. The tent itself was great. It kept me dry on what was a rainy weekend. It was just myself and my bag in there; there wouldn't have been much room for a second person and their things too.

Wanted the smaller version for two people. Read some unsatisfied reviews about its size and advertised measurements. Opted for this version for 3 people and it is a great buy. While camping at the festival someone next to me had the 2 person size and it is ridiculously small. Good for quick sleep while hiking here and there but not so much for camping or going to festival. It was dark enough for me to sleep in during the day. Not a pitch dark or as dark as the two seconds easy 2 persons tent. That one was darker. I am yet to compare them in summer but this tent seems to be colder and lets little more light in because of more mash in sleeping cabin, which is good for air circulation. The two seconds easy tent had little heavy air during the day. Either way I am ... MoreWanted the smaller version for two people. Pop-up tent (nearly)
2 September 2023

My son has this identical shaped pop-up version, but l wanted a little more rigidity, more seasons and removable outer layer. One person can put up in less thanThe inner face of the (separate) external sheet is like smooth silver blackout material and definitely works as you do need a torch in the tent even on a sunny morning! It also does retain some moisture on that silver skin in mornings recently, but dries out or if dismantling, just flip over, wipe down excess and leave in sun for a while. What is also useful, is that outer cover clips onto bottom 4 corners of inner tent, so before pegging down the whole tent can be moved into position, then pegged.Canopy area at front is easily large enough for 2/3 prs. of boots, so out of the elements and acts as a wind ... MoreMy son has this identical shaped pop-up version, but l wanted a little more rigidity, more seasons and removable outer layer. Waste of money
22 May 2024

I camp lots, work at events, see all types of equipment and this is by far the worst. It can't handle minimal wind, the poles are weak and will bend in a breeze, the sizing is completely off, because of it's design water will absorb through the layers. Just avoid it at all costs. The blackout feature works but everything else is genuinely and sadly a let down.
