I'm a relative newby to pour painting, but I have learned the value of the different paints in your pour being of the same consistency. These paints vary some My first bottle of white was noticeably thinner. Before trying to thicken it, I did a couple of pours. Air bubbles were almost nonexistent which was nice. After I use up what I have (I bought a lot) I'll probably not buy any more, but I think they would be okay for someone just starting out. Just be aware that what you save in time, you make up for in a high cost per ounce used.

Very pleased with all the DecoArt “Ready to Pour” colors I’ve purchased. I’ve purchased these on multiple occasions already. The metallic colors seem a bit thicker, so I usually pour a little bit of fluid mediums in with them. Sometimes I add a little bit of different colors with them to change them up. In my opinion, these are easily the best premixed “ready to pour” colors that I’ve used. I haven’t used them all, but they definitely have me pleased enough to repurchase them over and over again. They’re not overly priced like some others I’ve seen. All in all, you won’t be displeased with any of this brands set of Ready To Pour colors.

I have this in a several color, some being more viscous/thicker than others. Some are thin enough to be poured right onto the canvas without even having to squeeze the bottle, so be careful. When I squeezed the black one onto my canvas, it didn’t move at all when I tilted it, I painting and don’t even. I squeezed the bottle of the black one right onto my canvas, but when I tilted it, it didn’t move at all, so I just wet my “wash” brush with a little water and spread it all over my canvas. It spread really well! I actually don’t use these for fluid painting anyway. I use it to paint the background and a little goes a long way. I like the gloss finish too.

This was really easy to use and offered great coverage. I was using this on the inside of small glass bottles to make health potions for DnD. The only problem I encountered was that it would occasionally dry with gaps; and not in a way that looked like the paint just dripped elsewhere, it dried like the paint had flaked off. Yet, no flakes were to be found. Maybe this just doesn't work ideally on glass. Either way, saved me a lot of time. I just did multiple coats to cover the gaps. Much easier than trying to mix a fluid paint solution myself.
I purchased five different colors for a custom piece and the ready to pour paint was not as ready to pour as I needed it to be. I “poured” it on the canvas and it just stayed where I poured it. I had to raise the canvas to an almost 90* angle in order for the paint to run. I think this paint was actually thicker than regular acrylic paint. I started over, added pouring medium and the results were even better than I imagined! However, I think you can achieve the same result with a large bottle of acrylic paint and pouring medium. Don’t waste your money on this product like I did. I had to throw away three canvases and 4 empty bottles because this product is the consistency of barbecue sauce.
Recently purchased this line for my pours and I really love it. Consistency is great, color saturation is beautiful. Only reason for four stars instead of five is that the metallics aren’t quick as vibrant as the others. No real shine or shimmer and colors are more lackluster than the rest. Overall a decent product though that’s ready to pour the minute you open it.
DecoArt Fluid Art Ready-to-Pour acrylic paint mixes well when paired with the same product color palette. Highly recommended. Drying time is quick. Leaves a shine on canvas. Matte finish when applied to a cotton blend T-shirt.
I love DecoArt Ready to Pour paint! I've been using it over 1 year for fluid art pouring. It mixes easily to make other colors and there are very low air bubbles after shaking! Dries beautifully with a semi-gloss finish and no odor. It makes a great basecoat with no splitting or cracking of paint. The colors are bright and there is a good variety. Did I mention the economical cost?!
This black Deco Art Ready-To-Pour acrylic paint poured nicely and is very black - a little goes a long way! I can't give it the full 5 stars because there was some cracking on some of the paintings while drying (be careful not to leave the paint layer too thick). It didn't hugely detract from the look of the paintings where it happened and actually added some character, but I could see this being a problem with larger pieces or Dutch pours where the paint layer has to be thick.
I had a bit of a problem with these, the silver kept sinking to the bottom and not shoing in pours, I reached out to decoart and they told me metallics are heavy so you need to add up to 10% water for it to work. Which after several tries it did.So this set isn't ready to pour, you can't buy it to avoid mixing your paints before each pour. And I used up almost all of the paint getting the proportions right to actually work.
