The DeepCool AK400 cooler offers extremely high cooling performance thanks to its four heat pipes and PWM fan. This very quiet cooler has an impressive cooling capacity of 220 W TDP, making it suitable for overclocked CPUs, and can be installed even with the motherboard in place, despite its size. The AK400 is a powerful single-tower cooler that provides very efficient and quiet cooling through its fan. The low-noise fan motors reduce vibrations, and combined with the bearing, ensure a long lifespan. With four high-performance heat pipes, the heatsink guarantees excellent heat dissipation. The fin area of the cooler is very large due to the single-tower design, allowing for significant heat transfer to the airflow.

oh my brother in christ! it is just so nice in person. 4 copper heat pipes would definitely suffice for my needs as Im only rocking an r5 5600x but I believe this could rock an r7 5800x3d also (future upgrade). this is much better than the free stock cooler in which cant dissipate heat even if his damn life depends on it. \n\nunboxing was a nice experience coz its a big box and there are lot of things inside. seller was great too, i bought this for 1.1k only with discount and a little cashback points. greattt great deal. overall experience 5/5.\n

Really fast delivery! It's properly and tightly packed with FRAGILE labels on it. I haven't used it yet. My other parts aren't here yet so I will update when needed. No broken or bent fins or parts. It's a solid cooler and good-looking, too. It's got its own pre-applied thermal grease if you want to use it immediately. Thanks, seller!

Got this on sale along with a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU. Impressed with the design, quality build and quiet, solid performance. Definitely a step up from the stock Wraith Stealth cooler that comes boxed with the CPU. If RGB isn't your thing, then this might be for you. Easy install - comes with pre-applied thermal paste, so be careful. Great service from PBTech, as always.

Used to cool a intel i7 7700, and under a cinebench r15 load it stayed under 70 and didnt make too much noise which is exactly what I needed for my cousin. His stock cooler was horrendous.ProsSuprisingly easy to installSuprisingly quietGreat valueComes with extra bracket if you want to add a fan yourselfConsOnly if it's expensive otherwise you get what you pay forMake sure you have enough clearence

I have a Ryzen 3700X, and upgraded to this from the stock AMD Prism cooler. This is much quieter, to the point where I can barely hear it unless gaming, and runs about 20° cooler than the stock fan, averaging 30° normally and about 55-60° under load. (Though the thermal paste was about 3 years old at that point on my old fan)Was a breeze to install and I like the look.

An effective cooling solution for the 7950X CPU

At the time of purchase, this had been on a special offer with free delivery making its delivered cost almost ten quid cheaper than its twin fanned cousin which despite the additional fan, offered ten percent less airflow (hence less cooling performance) to gain a barely perceptible 1dB reduction in fan noise.Since the point of this purchase had been to cool a RYZEN 9 7950X coupled to an Asrock X670E Pro RS MoBo without resorting to the expense (and associated risks) of a water cooled solution, my choice between the single and double fanned versions had been a no-brainer, doubly so in view of a saving of almost ten quid on the deal.Even now that there is no price distinction nor any savings on delivery, I'd still recommend the single fan version over the barely ... MoreAt the time of purchase, this had been on a special offer with free delivery making its delivered cost almost ten quid cheaper than its twin fanned cousin which despite the additional fan, offered ten percent less airflow (hence less cooling performance) to gain a barely perceptible 1dB reduction in fan noise.Since the point of this purchase had been to cool a RYZEN 9 7950X coupled to an Asrock X670E Pro RS MoBo without resorting to the expense (and associated risks) of a water cooled solution, my choice between the single and double fanned versions had been a no-brainer, doubly so in view of a saving of almost ten quid on the deal.Even now that there is no price distinction nor any savings on delivery, I'd still recommend the single fan version over the barely quieter (1dB is the minimum perceptible change in SPL under ideal A/B test conditions), yet ever so slightly less efficient twin fan one (10% less airflow). When I first built this system, I'd naively assumed the very large PiB would include an OEM fan cooled heatsink so had to make do with an old AM3 OEM fan cooler, borrowed from the motherboard used prior to the the system I was upgrading from.In order to run initial checks on the new setup I'd had to under-clock and under-volt to stop the OTP from shutting it down. Although this was an effective compromise (90% base frequency), the tight thermal margin and noise of the old AM3 fan had me looking for a better alternative that didn't involve the costs of a water cooling solution and this AK400 ZERO DARK CPU Cooler proved to be just the ticket (no issues in fitting it to the Asrock MoBo).

great starter-mid end cooling tower

i have this on a z690 aorus elite ax ddr5 lga1700 mb and a i7-12700kf cpu and it runs quietly and i've never had any temp issues. i play a lot of simulation games that require some really good cpu power and i think my highest reached temps at times were in the 70-75c. so if you are making a starter gamer build or maybe a casual this is a very good one to get.
