This is one amazing CPU fan. It's already reduced my cpu temps from 70-85c to 40-65c since I upgraded to a r7 5700x from a r5 5600x.It's a very nice and tight fit, very simple to install (the fact you don't need to use those pesky metal clips to clip it in is fantastic), just pull the top cover off, pinch the handles and pull the fan out to screw it in and slide the fan back in and Bob's your uncle.Fits well with my AsRock B550 PG4.

Looks amazing and was easy to mount to my motherboard. Only personal issue is it has an LED light that is always blue when turned on (it messes with the overall look and conflicts with other light colours in my case). I cant figure out how to turn off.

Disappointing compared to the other coolers

I've been a big fan of some of DeepCool's recent air coolers like the AK620 and AS500 Plus and ever since this cooler was first shown off at CES 2023, I've been looking forward to receiving it.Now that I've finally received this cooler though, it's quite disappointing, the first unit I received had quality control issues, the fans were very whiny and would rattle.Thankfully DeepCool were quick to RMA it and sent me a 2nd unit, straight from the factory in China. Straight forward installation and great temps

So far I've been really impressed with the Assassin IV. Temps have been great (on a par with the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 it replaced). The biggest gain for me has been much improved RAM compatibility, I'm using it on a Crosshair VIII Hero. Beyond that I'm really i'm impressed with how good the cooler looks in my case. The whole unit design looks a lot more sleek and attractive than than dual tower coolers where the dual towers are more on display, the lack of a spinning fan at the front also makes the whole thing look a lot more sleek.All in all, really happy with the purchase. The cooling performance isn't better than than the thermalright. So from a value standpoint it's not as good.
