Best monitor I've owned

Having owned several monitors over the years, I can say that this monitor is the best one. The screen is bright and text is razor sharp. The whites are bright white and the blacks dark black. My vision is not that good and so the 32 inch screen provides plenty of real estate. The text is larger without having to crop the image. I had a 34 inch monitor before which doesn't sound like a big difference. However, I had to turn my head to see the whole screen. Sometimes, I had to use a magnifying glass to read the text even on the bigger screen. I don't know if it's the 4K resolution, but I don't even have to lean my head forward anymore to see small details in the documents, webpages, etc. I am not a gamer so I can't address how well this monitor meets their needs. ... MoreHaving owned several monitors over the years, I can say that this monitor is the best one. There are many screen adjustments that allow the user to get the best image but my picture was beautiful, rich and detailed with correct color rendition from the factory. The real test of how a monitor is rendering colors are the flesh tones. I have heard and read that they are the hardest to adjust to make the skin appear normal. The flesh tones with factory settings are right on target with no abnormal hues or overblown saturation. I recommend this monitor highly. There's not much not to like.

I have a corner desk, so I was a little concerned about the monitor being too big and not easily fitting into the corner. I did not need to worry, it fits perfectly. The monitor has some decent speakers; however, I already have a speaker system hooked up to my computer so I didn't really need built-in speakers. I found the controls and menus easy to use, and the Dell Display Manager software provides additional settings and customizations. I would highly recommend this monitor.

Excellent Non Gaming Monitor
14 December 2023

I read over 100 reviews before purchasing this monitor. My 32" 4K curved monitor is excellent in terms of contrast and picture. The internal speakers are adequate and I use them daily. You must be careful in setting this monitor up to avoid damaging the screen. I made sure to follow the directions and not lift the monitor by the sides. As a work monitor it's excellent but for watching TV/Movies it's just adequate. The VA panel simply isn't great for 4K viewing of TV. I purchased a 2 year warranty to make certain that I get at least that long out of this monitor. Overall, I recommend it and would purchase it again at the price I paid for it. For the money it costs, I give it 4.5 stars.

Excellent monitor with a lot of capabilities
15 December 2023

Really a terrific monitor. Excellent quality and capabilities. Display is very crisp and clear and settings allow for adjusting as needed. I set brightness at 75% as 100% is too bright for normal work. Editing for software development is helped greatly as so much code can be displayed at one time. The same would be true for documents or spreadsheets. Also, a lot of ports allow for connecting to two systems at once and attaching other USB devices. It has PIP/PBP which allows viewing two systems in different sizes which was unexpected but a very nice option. With its built-in speakers and UHD display, it is really nice for showing videos. Highly recommended.

I was expecting more...
30 June 2024

I got this monitor with a higher price. I got a good reference from a friend but ended up I kinda regret my purchase. Don't take me wrong, it's a great product. But by the price range, I believe I could have bought a monitor with a better color fidelity.I use it as my second monitor for a Dell XPS 17. The laptop monitor colors are amazing. Real blacks. When I move a window from laptop's monitor to the second monitor, it looks like the colors are "tired". Blacks become grayish. The blues are grayish.I work again a window. If light is strong outside, sometimes is difficult to see some stuff on screen, even with the brightness on top.Nice resolution, nice area to work. But bad colors. I was expecting waaaaaaaay more...

Less compatible than expected

Having specifically bought a model with DisplayPort capability, I was disappointed to find that when connecting to a (powerful) Dell laptop through a Dell docking station (WD15) can only run at 30Hz not the 50Hz. At that speed this monitor is noticeably flickering. Luckily the laptop had a HDMI which could drive at 50Hz at full resolution, whereas previous monitors I've had could only achieve with DP.The powersave mode is nice to have, but it's aggressive shutdown means that if you have windows up in extend desktop mode these all get jammed back onto the other monitor. So this might work for some people, but not me.On the plus side the setup and cables are very neatly done, sound works well for my limited needs. Adjustment is quite flexible. For the price paid, I think the display quality could improve. It's probably just the VA panels are getting old. Honestly didn't realize the difference compared to IPS panels.Slower response time and more difficult colour setup, these were my highlights. Quality curved 32" 4k monitor

4k Curved Monitor from Dell is a good purchase. My kid wanted a curved monitor (not a great gamer though) and first tried the 32" FHD curved monitor from Dell(bought from another seller), however it was highly pixellated . As it was for my kid , the usage will be a mix of online learning , streaming and very light gaming. So finally went ahead and bought this 4k curved monitor. As it is a VA panel so I was not really expecting it to perform well when viewed from an angle. However it performed superb where it's expected to . Very clear text, good refresh rate with no lags(previous was higher refresh rate but still lagged). Awesome sharpness and brightness, good contrast and blacks. It also has a speaker and it is decent (don't expect surround, dolby and all those) . Height adjustment and rotation options gives more flexibility.A quality monitor from Dell, will definitely recommend to others.
