Dell E2420H 23.8inch IPS LED Monitor

The monitor is good quality all around for a very reasonable price. Colors are sharp; set up is easy; comes with an HDMI cable; and monitor has good height and tilt adjustment capabilities. I can recommend this monitor.

Monitor would not work properly. There also was no menu option to go to. And because I purchased it from a third party, Wal-Mart will not accept the return. Wal-Mart should not have seller's on their website if they are not going to stand by their product. Now I have to wait two weeks instead of being able to exchange it out for a monitor that actually works. LESSON LEARNED!!

An inexpensive monitor that does what it says

The E-series is a decent monitor line. It is inexpensive, and Dell does a good job. However, hookup options on the E-series are lacking. If you need something more than VGA and DisplayPort, look at a P-Series monitor.

DELL Desktop monitor

The monitor fit my old desktop computer fine. The only problem I had was that it did not come with the cable that connects the monitor to the hard drive(tower). I think it's called a VGA cable, but not sure. I had to use my old one, but it was still good, so no issues with this, just a little confused.

Disappointed with limited connection options

Returned the monitor. It had a DP and VGA port. No DP on my desktop. DVI to DP or DVI to VGA connector cables are hard to come by. Online order took 3 weeks. Computer still couldn't detect monitor. Bought another brand with a DVI port and all is well!

Excellent monitor, especially for the price!

Great monitor. Was about $100 less expensive than similar spec'ed 24" Dell monitors. I believe this is because it lacks an HDMI input (has VGA and DP). However, for about $20 - $30 (I've seen even cheaper ones) or so you can buy an HDMI to DP adapter if your PC has an HDMI output but does not have a DP output like my Dell Inspiron 3647. (I'm currently using VGA which does work up to 1920 x 1080 resolution. Barely noticeable difference, if any, between VGA and DP - I tested this on my office PC.)

Great monitor once I fixed my computer problem. This monitor is the perfect size for my application and has a beautiful, high quality picture as well.Yes, I would recommend this monitor to anyone.Better availability (at my local Staples store) and improved documentation would help.Paul L. Great all around monitor.

Easy plug and play solution to add a monitor to an existing computer system. Came complete with display port cable and power cord. Easy snap together assembly, quick hook-up with two connections, power up and go. Great quality display. Great all around monitor.

Will not connect to Dell Laptop

I have tried USB C connections, HDMI to DP connections, and an HDMI converter. None of these options have worked. VGA would be the only alternative however using VGA does not provide sound. This model should have an HDMI connection port.

monitor works fine. Colors are good and the off-axis viewing is good.Maybe it could have a been a little brigher and the text quality wasn't awesome and the response is a little slow.Probably more expensive monitor would be better in these regards.But this is definitely a good buy for the money and for the office user or casual user, you will be very happy!
