I've set up several of these monitors as dual screens and the bezel-less design looks quite svelte. There's hardly any break in pixels between monitors side-by-side which makes it look like one super-wide free-flowing monitor. The power button and selection rocker on the rear completes the minimalist front fascia look. Brightness, sharpness, off-angle viewing, are all great. If there's one thing I'd change it's how tight the tilt/swivel adjustments are - your monitor will be held in place indefinitely but getting there is a bit of a chore.

Excellent monitor. I gave it four stars due to the cable ports being the type that require you to push up instead of being back to front. It's almost impossible to see where to plug in the connectors. A suggestion would be to lay the monitor on a flat surface to connect the cables instead of upright on the stand. There is a switch on the back of the monitor next to the power button that pushes in and also up, down, and side to side for setting up the monitor. This monitor came with the resolution pre-set at 1280x1024 which creates a one inch black border on the right and left margins. The borders can be removed by changing the resolution setting to 1920x1080 so that it will show the full screen.

The Dell P2422H is the perfect monitor for work. There are obviously lots of options out there for this size/spec monitor but the P2422H provides great image quality, a compact solid build and good connectivity options at a fair price. This is a great working monitor with a fully adjustable stand that fits well on your desk. The connectivity ports include HDMI, DP, USB, VGA and audio ports. The only port I'd would have liked to see is a USB-C port but that's not a major concern given the primary use of this monitor. Overall a great unit.

We have been using the Dell P Series monitors for many years. The P2422H is the latest and greatest.What we really like:- The integrated 4-port USB hub- Height-adjustable stand- The connectivity - DP, HDMI, VGA- Accurate color / IPS panel- Minimal bezel designWhat we don't like:- The power button and menu button on the back of the monitor instead of underneath or front. It is confusing to our user base, and makes it more difficult for IT Support to guide the user through checking monitor power, etc.
if your day is filled with emails, spreadsheets, Word documents, and web surfing, then this is a perfectly good monitor. Don't spend more on a UHD or 4K monitor, it won't make a difference for this kind of work. For standard office work this is the best model out there. Adjustable height stand. Swivels between portrait and landscape. Tiny bezel. Bright and clear.If you are doing graphics or CAD, you should consider a higher level monitor, but for standard office work, this is a very good model.
So far the monitor has been ok. It's a good size and visuals are good but I have some problems getting it to show vertical displays. I've google how to do it but it didn't work. A lot of computers don't have a Displayport, including both my MacBook pro and Dell laptop which are both fairly new models. I did have to purchase a HDMI cord which I think should've been included. The Displayport cord is useless to me. Also, maybe the specs didn't say the monitor could swivel side to side, but I realized after getting this monitor that it would've been great if it could.
I will say that I have been purchasing primarily the P-class monitors from Dell for a very long time! They come with a great 3 year advanced exchange warranty...BUT..I have only ever had to use that twice. Out of hundreds of monitors, only two failure within the first three years is great! We have many monitors that have been in use for 10+ years. Sure you can find the similar size monitors for much cheaper, but I found you do get what you pay for. And with most companies, exchanging them is a hassle, with Dell they send you a new one the next day!
I can tell this model of monitor was made cheaper than the previous models we have used. The stand does not have the ability to turn the monitor from left to right. You can still adjust the height, but there are times I want to turn my monitor and with this model I cannot. After setting up multiple of this model, I have notice that each one is at a different angle and not being able to turn them, means they are stuck that way. After Covid there was a delay before you would receive your order, up to 6 months at times. That is no excuse however for the poor build quality of this monitors.
Pros-Satisfied with clarity and usable for coding.Cons-Power cable supplied is loose at monitor end.USB cable supplied is only for keyboard and mouse because it is usb A. Unable to use the USB for display or charging. Purpose is diluted.No HDMI cable. Why Dell persist in giving DVI cable when their own laptops stopped supporting the port.Overpriced overall, not sure how much money should be paid to have good quality and modern cables. Wouldn't recommend. Check Benq or other brands.
This is a solid reliable monitor with crisp detail and vibrant colors. Very easy to connect with included DisplayPort cables and the height adjustable stand makes for a perfect ergonomic setup. The versatile stand also allows for portrait or landscape viewing and adds a nice amount of flexibility depending on your individual needs. It's just the right size for viewing documents and spreadsheets and handles graphic images with ease. Utilizing two of these on the optional Dell dual monitor stand is absolutely perfect and highly recommended!!
