Some bad pinch points behind the monitor when you go to move it. Also would prefer to have better swivel of the stand. Lastly, hard to use a Windows 11 device with this because thereās no way to put it into tablet mode.

The Dell P2424HT is a monitor whose arm allows the to ākneelā to the desk and has great features. The IPS (In-plane switching) display brings a lower contrast and wider viewing angles than the a VA (Vertical alignment) or TN (Twisted nematic) panel. The display is also thin, feels premium and is visually pleasing to look at. The AC Adapter is built-in, there is no external charger. The monitor can also be used as dock replacement, it helps with having a clutter free setup, such as in a work or home environment. During the time of testing the product, all the ports available on the monitor has shown no issues. The use of the VESA mounting at the back of the display makes it easy to hook it up to a monitor arm.

I use this product with Mac. *IMPORTANT* manufacturer (Dell) neither supplies nor supports drivers for Max OS X. No matter, touch-base.com does! Excellent and quick (albeit no frills) customer support, well documented products, wide support, etc. Setup was a little finicky, but made sense in the end as I began to understand the sheer magic of how it was all working :)I was skeptical at first with the style of stand, but it's surprisingly robust, with a wide range of movement.Overall, I love this display and fully recommend it, with two notes:1) You'll need a third-party driver if you want to use it with Mac OS X.2) There was a little weirdness with the computer going to sleep and not waking up the functionality of the display - simply cycling the power to the display fixed the hiccup :)

Image quality is really good and touch screen works well - no issues. For my primary purpose of a single screen touch enabled computer, this works fine. However, when first testing this screen, I connected it to my workstation (Dell XPS laptop, dock, and 2 external monitors) and found some results that you may want to be aware of. I replaced one of my 2 external monitors with this hub monitor. I first replaced my dock with the hub and was unable to use my 2nd monitor from this hub. I expected that this hub would be able to output to a second screen like other Dell hub monitors I have used, but this monitor only has video INputs, no OUTputs. Also, the only way to connect the touch part is with the same USB-C cable that makes it a hub. Also, the only way to connect the touch part is with the same USB-C cable that makes it a hub. This did work on my laptop while my laptop was also connected to my primary dock, but when I restarted my laptop it hung and reported that 2 docks were connected. Again, no big deal for me because my primary purpose for this hub monitor was to be a single screen system, I just wanted to point it out in case anyone reading this expected it to work differently.
The articulating arm makes the angle of the device easy to set. I have found that it is great for me as I wear bifocals. The touch is responsive and works flawlessly.
The Dell P2424HT has nearly everything you could want from a 24-inch touch-screen desktop monitor, including an articulating stand, a USB hub, good color and contrast. Needs to have a Stylus functionality for drawing.
This is a beautiful monitor with a very useful base. The reason I gave 4 stars is because it is difficult to figure out how to get the touch function working. There is no instruction included with the monitor to show how to add the drivers that allow the touch screen function. Once that was all done it is a beautiful tough screen monitor. There needs to be detailed written instructions for the touch function to be activated that should be in the box with the monitor when purchased. It was a chore having to be on the phone with support and having them not even knowing first that there was a driver needed. The support tech thought is should work with just connecting the monitor to a computer, but that is not the case. Complete instructions needs to come with the monitor in the box. The Dell support was good, but I am disappointed in Dell to have left out crucial information from the box with the monitor.
I am an older(retired)avid gamer and had been looking for a monitor that had a really high quality display. I had been shopping for one for a while now trying to decide if I wanted a touch screen monitor as well as compairing other brands features to this one. I chose the Dell P2314T touch screen monitor however I do use it in a rather unconventional manner. I have all of my systems connected to a Yamaha AVR and wind up using my large screen HDTV (soon to be replaced with a new 4K UHD TV) as a computer monitor for gaming when seated on my sofa. Unfortatunately I was unable to read most text from that distance and had to get up and move closer to the TV to select items from a menu and also to read the movie titles that are stored on my PC. So I decided to get a monitor that could be placed closer to me to make it easier to read. I liked this Dell touch screen monitor because the back and sides have a gentle curve similar to an over sized tablet, I have removed the stand from the back and when I am gaming I have it laying on a cushion next to me. I purchased a 10 foot display port cable that is connected to my Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 GPU that is in my gaming PC and I connect the USB cable for the touch features and the USB ports that are built in via a 10 foot USB3 cable. This allows me to plug in my Corsair K95RGB gaming keyboard and M95 gaming mouse(I purchased the mouse here at B&H) to the built in USB ports on the Dell Monitor. There is only one thing that I consider to be a negative about this monitor. Since Dell went out of their way to provide an audio port on the monitor it only works with external speakers not headphones and it is only a 2 channel stereo. This audio more than likely is being supplied via the HDMI or Display ports so I cannot understand why they did not at least put an optical spdif port and give it the ablilty to pass through at least 5.1 audio. There is one feature that I missed when doing my research that came as a very positve surprise is the HDMI ports supporta MHL adaptors. This enables the connection of a smart phone or tablet using an MHL adapter plugged into this monitor. I have tested it with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and watched a movie via Netflix streamed to the monitor via the MHL adaptor.
I am very happy with this monitor. It was easy to setup, it looks great, and the USB-C hub works well. The functionality that I'd like to see, considering a USB-C hub is built-in, would be a way to connect a 2nd monitor to the USB-C hub so that i could have a dual monitor display setup. From what I can tell, there is no way to connect / daisy chain a 2nd monitor off of this Dell P2424HT. IF that functionality did exist, this would be a POWERFUL monitor, as it would truly achieve "all-in-one_ status for most end-users.
For the newbies, you need to hook up the USB 3 cable from the monitor to your computer to enable touch. With that said, this is a beautiful monitor. It feels good to the touch, it is very well built, and the graphics look great. I use this for my photobooth business and it fits the bill perfectly. What I hate about it though is the back where all the connections are. It's a bit annoying trying to bend the cable connections just right so that the cables can be fit properly. I think that is a misstep in the design. But that is minor. Great monitor overall!
