A Pretty Awesome Monitor!

The stand behind the monitor has a vertical groove where the monitor attaches. It looks like it should be possible to adjust the height of the monitor by sliding it up and down the groove and locking it into place at a preferred height. Great looking monitor, minor complaints about random internet disconnects / ethernet drivers
5 December 2022

Great looking monitor, minor complaints about default ethernet driver settings, as the adapter keeps going to sleep using default config. Have to disbale idle power saving from device manager. https://www.dell.com/community/Latitude/Intermittent-Ethernet-Wired-connection-Issue-in-Dell-Latitude/m-p/8068595/highlight/true#M37448. Easy enough of a fix, surprised it has not been addressed yet, other than that its a great display. My only wish for a future version of this monitor would be for built in audio, as now it requires a USB audio adapter if you want only one plug back to your laptop.

Oustanding solution to remove clutter
11 April 2023

The image is very crisp and the flexibility is outstanding. It really helps to eliminate one more device sitting on a small desk removing clutter. My only concern was the ethernet driver out of the gate would not work. I had to go to the website and download a driver I found. When I tried to execute the driver I thought it was stuck as it ran for nearly 20 mins trying to load. Eventually, it is all working great and no additional problems with any device attached to the monitor. I absolutely love that this is a 3 year warranty given that it is a hub and I have seen interfaces fail a lot on other brand monitors. That along with the quality of Dell monitors is why I chose this monitor.

P2723QE - Good for Business
3 April 2023

Overall, the monitor is a decent choice for a moderately priced 4K monitor. The primary feature is the built in USB-C (input) hub that enables four downstream USB-A ports and an ethernet port but lacks another USB-C port. It allows for users to connect their laptops directly into the monitor using a USB-C cable which not only allows it to act as a USB hub but also as a 90-Watt charger for the laptop. The display functions via the USB-C cable to give your laptop an extra monitor which may be important for some businesses looking for a second display for their laptops but don't want to spend the money on a docking station. The monitor works well in a business environment that can provide additional functionality to the user without having to purchase other devices. I would not recommend the monitor for gaming due to its low refresh rate (60Hz) or for watching movies in HDR.

Perfect picture quality and great size and value
10 November 2022

Very easy to setup right out of the box. Very consistent backlighting across this relatively large screen. I notice most that the bezel is very narrow, making the screen seem even bigger than it already is. The controls, which you don't use much anyway, are behind the screen and you operate them "blind" with your right hand. Ergonomically this works very well, and the on screen menu that pops up as soon as you touch the button makes it very easy to navigate - I really like this style of control, which I've never seen before. My only disappointment is that the pedestal is not totally stable, so the monitor wobbles just a little if I bump my desk. Not a big deal. Love this monitor.

This is an excellent monitor
13 June 2023

I received the Dell P2723QE about 2 weeks ago, and am really enjoying it. I am a Design Director for a design agency in the Seattle area, and spend the entire day looking at graphics, images and web-based communication. I am really impressed by the clarity and colors on this monitor: small text is crisp and easy to read. The white balance is bright, but not overly so. Colors are vibrant, but accurate. I have used Dell ultra Sharp monitors in the past, as well as higher end monitors for photo editing - I think this monitor competes well with the best I have used. I would recommend this very highly.

Thoughts on this 27" business monitor
13 April 2023

This 27" monitor from Dell offers a good range of motion both height adjustable and tilt/swivel, the picture was good - though at 27" I would prefer a resolution a little higher than 1920x1080 - and unlike some other Dell models I have reviewed, this monitor is locked at 60hz refresh rate, while other models have started using 75hz + for a smoother experience. In my opinion the color accuracy was good, though out of the box tended to learn toward a cooler temperature which was easily corrected. Viewing angles were great as one would expect from an IPS display, and I did enjoy the inclusion of the various USB3 connections. Build quality is good, not overly inlayed with cheap/flimsy plastic, fairly solid all around.

Older Dell monitors from the same family had more buttons that allowed me to get to menus even when inputs are not detected. To get some older computers or non-pc computers to detect this monitor, you cannot rely on automatic settings.2) The settings joystick. Dell, if you are reading this review, get rid of the joystick and go back to multiple buttons. The joystick constantly sticks and the rapidly goes through multiple options. I hate having to go through multiple menus, multiple times for what used to be a single button push.3) sleep mode. There needs to be a better way to disable it. Monitor does not wake up when computer it is attached to goes to sleep. Joystick is useless. Older monitors at worse allowed you to wake by touching power button. This model requires you to unplug the power cable just to wake it up sometimes.
