Awesome budget gaming monitor!

Bought this a few days ago since it was time I move away from 60Hz Monitors. When it first arrived, the packaging was very large for a 24" monitor but easy to carry. The unboxing experience was rather pleasant even though it would be better if they added a screen protector and warned you that the box opens from the side (I almost broke it because of that!)Installing the monitor is very straightforward. You just have the base stand, the stand itself and the monitor and they just all go together easily. They provide a very high quality HDMI cable (I assume to handle 144Hz) and a power cable which is just your typical power cable. I believe they can replace your panel free of charge if it goes bad within warranty.Using the monitor for the first time for me is very different. As someone who has been on 60/75Hz for an eternity, going to 144Hz is like a blessing. You won't be able to go back once you use it! The UI itself is fairly easy to use and I would recommend using game 1 preset. The monitor has an adjustable height and angle but you'd have to move the entire monitor if you want to turn it. The image is crystal clear but I've noticed that the blacks aren't very good but it's hardly noticeable. The monitor is very fast though and that's just on a fast preset. You have fast, super fast and extreme presets. I don't reccomend using extreme presets on games that are designed to look beautiful and fast paced since there will be ghosting. Extreme presets are awesome for shooters though!I should also add that the monitor is very bulky and heavy, so don't expect a super thin design. The design at the back is very gamer like though and i dig it a lot! I was rather disappointed over its logo though because it looked to me that it was going to glow up in rgb but it didn't.Overall, I genuinely reccomend getting this monitor if you're looking to get into 144Hz gaming for the first time. It's worth getting it for the price and from a very trustworthy brand!

The quality of this monitor (or I should say these as I bought two) is excellent, I am very happy with my purchase. It works well for both my work and personal use.The only reason I have given 4 stars is that it is difficult to switch view from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2. I have two laptops connected to it, mine and a client's. The monitor has no issue with switching to HDMI 1 (my laptop), but it feels like a fight to get it to switch back to HDMI 2 using the quick menu buttons on the back. I'm mindful that this is probably a unique situation, but there is no point providing two HDMI ports if it is a fight to switch between them

At first appearance, the monitor is seems a bit small for its size rating. After fully setting it up, the stand and monitor are amazing... especially for the price. I love the thin edges of the screen and the stand features for adjusting the monitor. I am pondering buying another to match alongside this one on my work laptop setup. Great buy so far, nothing negative to mention. Comes out of the box in a plug and play setup with a snap on attachment for the stand to the screen.

Good bang for your buck, even better when on sale.

Monitor is great. Very slim. Bright. Worth the money. No complaints from me gaming on it either. I am not a hard-core gamer . Only complaint I have is in the left hand top corner the monitor frequency is displayed permanently, I have not found an option to remove it or make it transparent yet. It does hinder me on some games that use that part of the screen to display things. I am unable to see through it. Other than that great monitor.

Good so far
29 December 2021

Haven't had it very long, but so far so good. Mine arrived with no dead/hot pixels that I can tell. Seems to work just as a monitor should.Cons: Complete black is a little too bright, but I got this for good 120+ fps response, and each monitor type is a compromise. I wish the screen had a bit more tilt available.Pros: The hat button for selecting screen options is very quick and intuitive. And the monitor has an option to disable auto-searching for a new input signal every time the computer cuts out signal during those little lapses in signal during startup, which is nice. The bezel around the edge of the screen is much thinner than my previous monitor, which I like. Though I don't think I'd want it any thinner than this, as it's nice having _some_ visually ... MoreHaven't had it very long, but so far so good. Mine arrived with no dead/hot pixels that I can tell. I purchased this gaming monitor because my old computer needed replacing and my new Dell computer didn't have the right connections for my old monitor. After getting a great price on Dell's XPS 8940, I bought this gaming monitor as well. great monitor for the price. Other reviews say its a TN panel like that is a bad thing. the colors on this are great. I think they are better then IPS colors because the blacks are deeper instead of looking grey and for me that makes a big difference. The last TN panel I had was probably five or six years ago and I can tell you the technology has come a long way since then. if you haven't seen newer panels don't assume they are like older generations. As for my first 144hz experience. I feel like I was happy with 30hz, even with 60hz being around, now 30fps it seems unplayable and 60fps feels jittery like 30fps used to. for comparison I guess you can try locking your fps at 25fps , play a bit then un cap it on your current 60hz monitor. Pretty good for what it is

I bought this with my Aurora R10 under the impression that it was an IPS display. Unfortunately, I had failed to actually read the specs as it's a TN panel monitor. TN panels don't produce colors as accurately as IPS but often provide both higher refresh rates and better response times for less money than the equivalent IPS display. That being said, The only thing wrong with this one seems to be a very small green tint that can be mitigated slightly using either the Nvidia Control Panel or Radeon Settings (depends on what your graphics card is). If you're not a gamer, you probably won't notice any of this though and this will 110% suit your needs. It's also extremely difficult to notice the green coloration when you're actually in-game, so take that as you ... MoreI bought this with my Aurora R10 under the impression that it was an IPS display. There are definitely better options out there at higher price points (and potentially at the same price as this), but I'm lazy and wanted to make everything as streamlined as I could so I stayed on the Dell website. I apologise for the rant.

I bought this monitor for my wife to connect with her Alienware 15 laptop via a docking station. The monitor came in a box with incredible packaging to keep the parts secure and damage free. It was obvious a lot of thought went into that detail. Assembly was intuitive and easy to accomplish. No tools needed to assemble. There was also a step by step assembly guide included if you have any questions. The monitor is fully adjustable in virtually any direction with minimal effort. Once connected to the docking station, the laptop started using it immediately and the picture is incredible. My wife does extensive gaming with MMO's as well as stand alone games. The resolution is wonderful. Went in with timid expectations, blown away!

This monitor has surpassed every one of my expectations of what could be bad about it. No backlight bleed, the configuration options are amazing. I've never had a VA panel and I was worried that the picture quality would take a nosedive because of things I've read online, but to my discerning eye, I can't really tell a difference between VA and IPS, that may be a sign of my aging, but I know for a fact now that VA is leagues better than TN.The 144hz is really nice, and this monitor is G-Sync compatible, I just wish it was a little clearer in its documentation or on the box that you can only use G-Sync with a DisplayPort cable. That would be my one knock against this fine product. I still leave it at 5 stars however, because that's not an issue with the monitor ... MoreThis monitor has surpassed every one of my expectations of what could be bad about it.
