I do wish the monitor would click so it is perfectly horizontally or vertically, however it is certainly possible to get it close enough to not notice, without much effort.The cord pulling through the back of the monitor is quite useful, and overall I really enjoy this monitor, it's not perfect, but again, for the average Joe it does what you need to do really well - and the 4K display is similar in regards to the Retina Display in how sharp everything is.

I am not a power user, just a typical user with a newly purchased Mac mini. Unfortunately, after buying it and hooking it up to a monitor that worked well enough with my previous Windows machine, I found out it was basically not compatible with an M1 Mac. Technical explanations etc., but bottom line is I needed something fast and preferably not pricy. I did some online searches and this was at the top of the list for a low to medium budget range monitor. With so many people working from home it is common to have multiple devices plugged into the same set of monitors. Also I miss the color adjustment features that my old Ultrasharps had, particularly the color temperature adjustment. I am no expert on adjusting monitors but it feels like these have less adjustability than I was previously used to. Overall I got a great deal on these, so while I am a bit disappointed on some things and will probably go back to the ultrasharp series next time, none of the problems are complete dealbreakers for me.

As an owner of my own technology consulting business, I must keep a number of applications open for the duration of my workday and having the secondary monitor was a necessity.This monitor is an excellent value. I bought two of these for my dual monitor work from home setup. Originally I had purchased the S2722QS. I ended up returning those because one of them had a scratch on the stand. Dell told me they couldn’t send me just the part of the stand that was scratched and that I would have to send the whole monitor back and they would ship a replacement. I decided to purchase 2 of the the S2722QC instead. One of the boxes arrived already opened. After setting up both monitors one also had a scratch on the stand and what looked like a spot of dust under the screen. The other had a dead subpixel near the center of the screen. Dell sent two replacements and I sent these two back. The replacements also arrived with one box that had already been opened. So far they appear to be ... I was too cheap to buy the higher model that came with usb-c ports but use an adapter. So I still end up with only one USB-C port to my Mac. Now I often have to eye ball it whenever I swivel it.The sounds clearly sucks (low volume and just not great sound). For now, I no longer need to squint, the monitor gives me more flexibility than I am using, I particular like the pivot to portrait mode, and the monitor should serve me well when I upgrade my PC and reattach and recalibrate it to/for my multimedia network. At that time I will also modify my Hz settings to eliminate a small but noticeable lag that isn't overly bothersome for now (I am not a gamer). Finally, Dell service and support has always been good to me and the occasional discounts are always welcome. I am pleased my OCD need to over analyze market offerings has come to an end and am very satisfied with both the purchase and its timely delivery.

Further, Dell did a great job at shipping on time and it was delivered when I expected it to be (free 2 day shipping). Not sure how or if they would handle returns if needed, but overall pleased.
